For conservative superstar Glenn Beck, Obama's namesake may as well be "Beetlejuice."

The media maven has resolved to make the utterance of the president's first and/or last name a fireable offense, reports Raw Story. Claiming that anyone who wants to hear the name of "that man" can go anywhere else to do so, Beck warned those in his employ that they'll be let go if they fail to heed his ban on the 'Bama:

Anyone who brings him up - unless it's me - is fired. I can't take the man's voice, I don't want to hear him, I don't want to know about him. I'm also going to go with what my mother used to say: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. So, there you go. I've said everything I have to say about that man."

See the video of Beck's promise, not his threat, here.

Glenn Beck (that Man) stole Don Imus's format for his show, when Imus used to be on MSNBC in the early mornings. It's identical, except that Imus was alot better at it and he and his sidekicks were alot funnier and alot more entertaining. It's exactly like it, right down to the Stand-up Radio Mike on the Desk in the front of him...and the 2 Sidekicks! Of course, Beck's mike had to be alittle bigger. But, that's Ok...it hides part of Beck's face and that's a good thing. Imus had sex-appeal and a sexy, mischievous look in his eyes, anyway...and he was alot more believable, even though they're both full of it!

If Beck's not joking, he's going to have one boring show, since most of the up-coming News will be about Obama and Congress, through most of this New Year...barring some major Unexpected Disaster.
Oh well, Beck's boring anyway, so there won't be anything new with that.
You just have to bear in mind that it's all hype and as phony as can be...again, just like Imus! But darn, Imus was alot more likeable and cuter, in a little Boy, "I'm-putting-you-on" kind of way! Beck's just obnoxious.

I listen to Glenn Daily and subscribe to his website. I bought my daughter his Christmas Sweater book as a gift to try and get her back in my life.

*Well, I'm a Democrat and I LOVED Don Imus. He was a Conservative Republican, but he wasn't a Fanatic and he was funny and very charming. Even when he got angry, he seemed tolerant of Others' viewpoints and never seemed Mean-spirited. He got a Bum-rap with that Racial thing that got him kicked off of MSNBC...I don't belive that Man had a bigoted bone in his body.
When I worked Evenings and Midnights, I used to set my clock to wake up just to watch "Imus In The Morning", I enjoyed his program that much.
He used to say that he was "an Equal Opportunity Basher", he teased everybody on all sides, at some point . If you weren't teased by Imus, you were a "Nobody".Lol!
But, I say again, it was never Mean-Spirited...and that's what made him special. He knew where the Line was and he never crossed it. He ALWAYS made me smile!
I really missed that Show, when it was taken off the Air.:(

Yeah, but it's not the same. That bogus charge of Racism took alot of his Spirit away. He still has his moments of Brilliance, though.

I, also, think that he's at his best, when he has a bigger Audience.
You know that he was the Top Radio Personality, for many years, in New York, don't you? That's how he became famous, on the Radio.

Yep, I know what you mean. I have only watched him twice since he was taken on MSNBC.
