No idea who is opening it up. Just hope they are under new managment. One who will put blue cheese on the salad bar. Theformer wouldn't even put packets on it therefore she lost my business. Hope they have good food.

A shitty ass steakhouse that went out of business when the state shut them down for back taxes.

As I said hope he doesn't hire the former manager back. She was terrible at times.

I think we need a good Steakhouse in this Town. We had one many years ago & it was the most popular place in Town. Anybody remember, "John's Steakhouse"?

That's not good. I never ate at Lapanto's (sp.) but once because I didn't particularly care for the food. I just didn't think it was very good. I hope they offer better this time, but it's obvious that you think not. I hope you're wrong, but you're probably not, if it's the same People opening it.

We don't go out to eat very often but when we do
we drive a little ways extra and eat at either Tom's Steakhouse or FRESH Garden in Paris.

Foodie, sorry but I have never gotten a bad steak or
other food at either place. Both are far better
than anything Camden has to offer. Maybe you should stick to hamburgers or hotdogs or something simple.

I think you meant Fresh Market in Paris.

Tom's sux. It is over priced....when they went up on their pricing and their food is terrible now. My wife and I ate there back at the end of last year. I would rather spend my money at Thatcher's and keep my money local in our city. Thatcher's has great food and is priced just right for a small town. Or I would rather eat chicken from Goodwings any day than the garbage they served to me last year at Tom's. That wasn't fried chicken. That was fried crap. Jmo

The BEST STEAK around in my opinion is the Olive Pit in Paris, Tennessee. It will cost you $21 but it is as good as a Mortons of Chicago or any $40 steak as a Real 5 Star restaurant. You can walk across the street and buy a good bottle of wine bring it into the Olive Pit (at no charge) they will give you a couple of wine glasses and you can enjoy a Great Dinner. I was reluctant to try this place for years but when I finally did I had to admit I did not know what I was missing. If you don't like Steak their other meals start around $10
