Yeager has his head on straight. A man's man. I think you have been given bad information on him.
Taken a mobile class with him.

So far, PJ, your childish attempt to slam Mr. Yeager has been an epic fail.

I agree with Reid Henrichs, SamD, James Hanley, Jeff from Tallahassee,WETSU,Model T, and PTown.
You did not come on this forum out of concern, nor was there anyone out there trying to paint an image of Mr. Yeager as being a "school shooter in the making", or "rumors began about you (him) being another school shooter in the making".
You said that YOU had concerns that he was a school shooter in the making, you didn't claim that there was a rumor that you were attempting to debunk.
I am proud to call Mr. Yeager a friend, I am also proud to call Chris Siler a friend.

I have not only witnessed Mr. Yeagers generosity, I have been a benefactor of his generosity.
I was surprised to see his post to you on here, He isn't the type of man that stoops to the low level to give a stick like you the time or the energy it takes to bother with sticks.
You know what sticks are for, don't you? They stir pots. You, are a stick.

You and your alter ego posted that I must be James Yeager because I asked you questions. I'm not James Yeager. But I respect him more that just about any man I have ever met.

How many toys did you collect for needy children this Christmas this year, last year, the year before?
How many back-packs full of school supplies did you donate to needy children returning to school last year, or the year before that, or before that?
How many police officers did you deliver Christmas and Thanks Giving dinner to because they were on duty and could not enjoy a dinner at home with their families?

My bet would be none, and I would win that bet.
James Yeager does those things.
You claimed that you took your "proof" to professionals, Councilors and psychiatrists, who agreed that Mr. Yeager was a danger.
I would bet that was a lie, and I would win that bet.

How little you must feel to have done what you did.
I doubt your story of Military service, I would hope that our military didn't produce cowards of your caliber.

I am calling BS on this thread.
You claim James Yeager maybe a deadly threat to the public due to a mental diagnosis and you ask for opinions on a blind forum? How does that work? If enough people say Yeager is fine and not ill, you walk away? If enough people say he is crazy, you do what? have him detained on the basis of this forum?
This is total crap, Are you an 18 year old mama's boy with a laptop and think this is a funny idea?
If you had any balls and wanted to really asses him you would show up at his shop.
Grow-up and invest in your own life.

I've stayed in his home, broken bread with him and his family, befriended many of his friends, trained with Tactical Response multiple times, and taken my teenage son to stay in his home and train at his school. PJ, your time would be better spent on another endeavor.

It just shows the depth of your depravity and Evil, Deranged Mind that you would start a Thread about somebody that you claim to be a Friend, in order to try and blame it on innocent People.

This is what you constantly do to People. anybody that thinks you have any capability of being a Friend to anyone...or to trust you in any way, is nothing but a Fool!

I hope Yeager teaches you a lesson you will NEVER forget!

I have trained with James on 3 different occasions over the last 4 years.
Is he perfect? No (who is?) Has he ever chosen less than articulate ways of expressing his emotIons? Yes (who hasn't?) What I can tell you is a found a man with well thought out , logical practices and a solid method of teaching them to people of every skill level. Sure you can disagree with some minor techniques he chooses. He will even tell you as much. The most impressive aspect I left with was his and his staff's desire for people to learn how to protect themselves and those they care about. It is a testosterone fueled environment, maybe that is hard for some people to handle in a society that seems to take pride in demasculating it's men. But I stress that their primary goal is to educate those who want to learn and for my money they do a GREAT job!

I've known James since around 2002. My first class with him was when he was working for a company called OPS (Options for Personal Security). I may have my timeline wrong, but I believe that James left OPS to start Tactical Response. I have since taken a few classes with Yeager and Tactical Response.

Like other posters in this discussion, I am not local. My first class with James was when I lived in Arkansas and I now reside in Dallas, Texas. However, despite my not being local to Camden, I believe my history with, and knowledge of James qualifies me to submit this response. Furthermore, I was a U.S. Marine with two deployments to the Middle East, a former Police Officer, and I feel my experiences and training resume provide me with the necessary background to intelligently comment on this discussion.

Over the decade that I've known James, he has proven himself to be one of the finest men that I've had the pleasure to know. What's more, I tend to put a lot of stock in the kind of people a person attracts to their circle of friends - sort of a "birds of a feather" type thing. In this regard, I can honestly say that the people who can call James "friend" are the kinds of people that anyone would be proud to be associated with. In fact, I have been blessed in getting to know and becoming friends with many of those in James' circle.

James has a big and generous heart. He is, perhaps, the finest example of what it means to be a good husband and father. He has developed what some might characterize as a cult following because he really is "as advertised." He gives more to his students that any other instructor I've ever had the priviledge of training with.

James is also the classic "type A" personality. He says what he thinks, does what he says, and doesn't waste time with political correctness. For some, this can be very disconcerting... I get that. For me, it is refreshing and I feel I have personally benefitted from his style. When my glock went down with a broken spring, James mailed me a replacement that same day... free. When I needed a reference, he was there. When I needed advice, he was there. If someone needs help, he is there.

A jurist once opined on the subject of pornography that he didn't know the definition, but he knew it when he saw it. Well, I'm not trained in psychiatry and don't know the clinical definition of a sociopath or psychopath, but I know James isn't either one. He is not a danger to public safety. Indeed, he probably does more to ensure public safety than anyone by providing quality training at affordable prices.

I will not impune your motives for starting this discussion and will not even bother to guess the reasons. I will say that I was put off by the nature of your comments. I find it offensive that you would [not so subtlely] imply that you think James might one day gun down a bunch of school kids. In today's climate, that is a serious accusation.

James doesn't need me to come on here and defend him: I'm not here for that. I'm writing because I consider him a friend and your words, intentional or not, amount to pretty serious allegations and character assassinations... and I have a problem with that.

A Marine once said something about being "No better friend; no worse enemy." To me, that kinda encapsulates how I think about Yeager, and I am grateful that this country can still produce men like him.

Sincerely,

Ken from Dallas.

Because I'm one of the Ones the LIAR mentioned! If he lied about me, common sense says he lied about the Others, also.

He'll lie about own so-called Friend and try to ruin his Business, to have an excuse to blame innocent People for it...he's just proven that by starting this Thread! He/YOU are most of the Posters on this Thread and anybody that can't figure that out, just isn't familiar with how insane and devious you are!

And you obviously have one "so-called" Friend who is doing just that and he fits every category mentioned in your Post, except the "powerful" category.
Of all the things you may or may not be, I know that a Fool is not one of them, so you probably already know everything I'm telling you.

I first met James Yeager back in the early 2000’s. I have been to training courses and events which he taught or attended. Your assertion the he suffers from some type of mental instability is ludicrous. If he was stationed at my children’s school with a gun I would feel confident that they were well protected. I do have to wonder about someone who posting anonymously on the internet trash talks a local celebrity with no firsthand knowledge of the object of his slander.
You asked about Yeager so here are my actual observations. Yeager is a very knowledgeable firearm and self defense instructor. It is obvious that he studies the ever evolving field and is on the leading edge of training community. You seem critical of his videos, but you watched them didn’t you? Why; marketing genius on Yeager’s part. He created a persona that people find entertaining, controversial, and sometimes over the top, so people watch the videos. He has branded his product and found a way to separate his company from multitude of people offering firearms training. Due to his success, he has put Camden on the map in the firearms industry.
Personally, he has a wicked sense of humor, blunt delivery and is a master showman. Yeager is also generous to a fault, fiercely loyal to his friends and people in need. I truly believe that he cares about his students and will go out of his way to help anyone who needs help. Now, he is Type A, opinionated, outspoken, decisive and may have a little red on the skin above the collar. If you are some type of weenie, I can see that could be intimidating to you. To me, he is extremely entertaining and funny which makes me remember whatever material he is delivering.
I don’t get your purpose with this post. He hasn’t personally insulted you or wronged you. So, what’s up with the internet trolling. If Yeager doesn’t deliver a good product he will go out of business. If he does, he will survive. Why don’t you go take a class from his company before you post anything else? At least you would have some firsthand knowledge.
