Floors were extremely sticky when I went. Felt like I was walking on a floor of gum.flies everywhere. My son found a piece of brown hair in his food. Her portions for her hasbrowns were extremely small as well. When I went the 1st time the whole plate was full of them but this last time it was only about 2 scoops. Learn how to mop and tell your waitresses to stop worrying what they look like and do their job! While I was there a short smaller girl with a ribbon in her hair was there (waitress) and would not stop applying that eye makeup! Be more worried anout serving your customers than trying to fix your face! Probably will not be returning!!!!!
I heard the pepsi delervy had a leak on one of the drink bags and until they could move tables and properly mop the whole area that was probably the best at the time. If they were mopping when you was there, you would probably gripe about that too. As for the hair, it is unfortunate but not the first restaurant nor the last to expierence this and it doesn't mean it came from the kitchen. As for the portion you had a problem with...I feel different cooks have to be trained on what the owner wants and that take time to be worked with. Just my opinion.....

If the ventilation is not that good, the floors COULD be sticky because the mop water needs some degreaser added to it.
The grease from the kitchen will get in the air and settle on the floor and when you mop it without degreaser, it'll make the floor sticky.
Also, if certain kinds of floor wax are being used, they will also make the floor sticky when it gets wet or damp. Commercial cleaning and floor care products are designed to take care of things like that, but home products that you buy Retail, such as at Walmart, usually will not.

Been there 3 times now and not a good experience yet. It takes too long to get your food. I ordered a sweet potato and they brought me a baked potato. When I asked if that was a sweet potato they looked at the ticket and saw they had it wrong. By the time I got my sweet potato I had already eaten my sandwich. The sandwich says on the menu that it comes on a hoagie bun but they had it on
Texas toast and the meat was very bland. The flies are terrible, your clothes smell like food when you leave, and the staff is more interested in socializing than in providing good service. The owner needs to pay more attention to what is going on and correct the problems. Otherwise, she will not make it long.

Blah, blah, blah! Like anybody pays any attention to ANYTHING you say! You screwed that up about a year ago! NOBODY cares what you think about ANYTHING, anymore! Get used to it, it's not going to change!

Ok... I'm thinking. Who would it hurt if britt does good. How many other resturaunts have breakfast lunch and dinner? 1. Catfish place
2.little city cafe
3.downhome
I'm thinking that it is someone from one of these places that are posting all the negative comments.
Maybe.. The new owner of one of them can't take the competition.....
Maybe.. One of them is jealous of you having a bigger, cleaner and nicer place.
Maybe.. The sisters act nice but don't want you to succeed.
If they keep all the bad posts up.. They will slip up. None of them are smart enough to keep a good cover. You keep your head up girl! I have ate there. Very good! I will continue to eat there.
I just can't stand to see someone get stopped before they even get started!

I bet it's the sisters. The waitress one is always listening to the customers. Not taking the order I mean trying to find out stuff from customers.watch her next time you go.. I think all restaurants should have to have a suggestion box. That way everyone don't have to know your business.

The food IS awesome! No wonder she's always running out . Some people just complain because they have nothing better to do!
Some people complain because they didn't like the food or the service they got.

If you think complaints should be blown off cuz they ain't valid just cuz you think there's a bunch of complainers here then that means compliments can be blown off too because theres just as many posers and liars as there are complainers.

Some people got nothing better to do than try to make excuses why their opinion should matter and someone else dont.

I don't have a problem with the customers voicing their complaints...as long as they are sincere and the complaints are genuine and what they actually experienced, in their opinion.

what I do have a problem with is, customers who want to complain for some other reason unrelated to the Food, the Service, and the Sanitary Conditions of the Business. You're paying for the Product & the Service, and you have a right to expect a certain amount of quality in both, but aside from that, everything else is irrelevant.

One more thing, I don't particularly care for "fried foods", while Others love everything "fried". One cannot expect a Business to only cater to YOUR likes and ignore the likes of the other Customers. It's your responsibility to order what you prefer, not the Restaurant's responsibility to serve only the food that you prefer.
IOW, if you don't like fried food, DON'T ORDER IT! I'm sure and have been told that there is a reasonable selection on the Menu of a variety of foods, cooked in different ways. So, that should not be a complaint. And if it tastes different than what you've been used to eating...well, isn't that one of the reasons for eating out...to try different things, cooked in different ways? If it isn't a bad taste, such as spoiled, then ther's nothing to complain about because the Person sitting next to you, may love it. It's just the different tastes of the Customer.
One more thing and I'll shut up. Lol!
I have another problem with the People in this area that just refuse to allow any business time to get on it's feet and make adjustments to improve and grow. All that takes time! The Employees have to have time to adjust and get better at their jobs, in all areas and that doesn't happen overnight, especially when there isn't a large "Pool" of experienced Employees in that line of work, to choose from in this area.
Experienced Cooks and Waitresses are hard to find here, who aren't either working some other Restaurant, or kind of Restaurant...or haven't left Restaurant Work altogether for other kinds of jobs and it's been that way for quite awhile.
Restaurant Work is hard work, so if this is the first time that most of the Employees have done it, they have to have time to learn it and improve, just like you did when you first started working, or started working at a new kind of job.

Ok, now I'm finished...I've said all I had to say.:)

Omg- it's a cafe in Camden Tn.
It's amazing that the opening of a cafe could be such a hot topic.
Either eat there if you like it, or don't ever go back if you don't!

I don't think it's a "hot topic" because it's a Cafe. I think it's a hot topix because it's a new business in Camden and sadly, we don't get many of those, anymore. We usually have them closing, or being forced to close, or leaving, not opening.
