EVERYONE that works there s trying really hard to makethis restaurant a success. We try to please everyone and getthe food out as fast as we can. Brittany Conrad is a really sweet person, she would give you the shirt off her back if you asked her to. I was born and raised in Camden,I am a working mother, wife and taxpayer so my opinion matters also. Instead of putting all this mess on a computer if you have a problem with your service or the food why dont you leave your name and telephone number and Im sure Brittany would meet with you at her earliest convenience to try and make your "bad" experience right. As for the hair in the food noone has told anyone that works there that they just found a hair in their food. I know if I found a hair in my food when I went to eat out somewhere I would let them know. Yall peoplethat are saying bad things on here about Britts cafe need to stop it is hurting alot of peoples feelings, that dont deserve to be hurt. Having a restaurant has been Brittany's dream for a very long time so yall need to play nicely and stop tring to ruin it. All the people that come in there and eat seem really nice so I don't believe the people tht are putting it down on here have even been in there to eat. God Bless all of you. And please remember to treat others as you would like to be treated.

Brittany conrad is a terrible boss. She brings her personal life with her to work and takes it out on her employees. Brittany conrad is as two faced as you can get. Jealous . Back stabbing. If you have any beef with her at all PLEASE do NOT work for her. She will not treat you like an employee, but rather, the person she knows in her personal life! Go ahead and beat me down with comments... I am only speaking the truth. And if you choose not to believe my above statements then PLEASE tell me why she has had so many employees quit and she has only been open a few weeks.
Brittany is an amazing boss. Not once has she ever yelled at an employee in front of a customer. So where exactly are you getting that information? Because that would make HER look bad. Brittany does an amazing job trying to work around people's schedules and making it convenient for them. Your not gonna find that anywhere else. Not once has she ever bitched one of us employees out because of something that's going on outside of her work life. If you simply come in and do your job, britt is an easy person to get along with. And if you don't do your job, yes, she will say something to you.. As well as any other employer would. It's a new business and there are always gonna be low life people like your self to hide behind their computer and talk a bunch of shit they can't back up.. And britt doesn't give you or anyone else who chooses to be cowards and dog her out on this site a second thought. She's doing the best she can possibly do. She really cares about her customers and will see to it that they have the best service she can possibly give. I know she will make it because she has a good team and plenty of support behind her

This business CAN & WILL make it because she has plenty of support behind her. I'd like to see anybody else as young as her get out and do what she's doing & be as successful. As far as running out of anything, I'd take that as a good thing meaning the food is that good & she's got that much business. Her weight has nothing to do with the restaurant & whoever thinks so is pretty damn heartless. She doesn't deserve people talking about her like that because she has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is doing great.

All mya and gloria do is live for the drama. Will not be eating there any more due to the fact that brittany's employees talk in such a way. You've lost my business as well and I will also be telling all of my friends about this. We are (or were) regulars who brought good business to this establishment. If I were your boss (to everyone who is working there and feeding the flame) I would fire you! When will we ever have a decent restaurant in this town???

<quoted text> Wow, sounds like you need to apply for a part time job to offer advice....don't get me wrong, I agree with "some" of your post...oh, and you want the owner to be there 17 hours a day, cook all the food, wait all the tables, do all the paperwork, wash the dishes, clean the building and do after hours banking.
Sorry, do not need a job, as I have already spent 30+ years in the industry, working with 4 and 5 star restaurants, a few which were rated in the top 10, internationally. I am comfortably retired & travel quite often. Also, my statement that the owner needs to be there, still stands. If you have any industry experience, you would know that there is a lull, during mid-morn & mid-afternoon, to take care of paperwork & banking (if you are organized). I also did NOT say she had to do it all, but as owner, she needs to be available, to make sure the employees are doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy. In the beginning, a new biz needs to have as much consistency & professional service as possible, to ensure that word-of-mouth advertising, which can be your best friend, or worst enemy, stays positive. Once the biz is running smoothly, and the staff is proven to be competent, then she can take more time off. I am just speaking from a VERY experienced point of view. I was not being snarky, nor did I add a laundry list of complaints (which I could well do, because both times we were there, we do not have ONE complimentary thing to say about the food and service). I am not from this area & apparently was under the impression that constructive criticism would be acceptable to the OWNER. As far as some of the childish, uneducated people who have posted on this forum, they are not doing the owner any favors & she should find out who they are & ask them to refrain from continuing such remarks. As I stated, previously, I was looking forward to something new & different. which is sorely needed in this town, but, I agree with some of the other posters, who feel this place will not make it. As far as offering advice, I have not seen any response from the owner, lately, so I am doubtful that she is open to constructive criticism. First impressions remain in the customers' mind & while they may be willing to overlook an occasional issue, with either food, or service, as long as the owner seems willing to 'fix it', if the customer continues to experience more of the same, they will not continue to come back & most of the time, they WILL tell others 'don't bother'.

Why is there no food service inspection score on the State's web site. Has anyone seen the inspection document completed by the state and that is required to be posted in the Cafe?

Thats where the real TRUTH lies or Lyes!

We need good, clean food establishments in our community.

Just asking

Sounds like someone that tried to make it in the resturant buisness and failed. They are most likely pulling a Roach Coach around to different events. One time customers that won't be back. How's the Big Red Resturant on wheels doing these days ??The jailhouse always needs experenced cooks and dishwashers.
