Payday loans play a necessary role, providing hard-working people with a reasonable, well-regulated option for meeting unexpected or unbudgeted expenses and other short-term financial needs. Payday loan customers choose between bouncing a check or overdraft protection, incurring late fees on routine bill payments, borrowing from friends, family or church, taking out a cash advance on a credit card or taking out a payday loan. All of these products have a cost associated with them. Payday loans often are a less costly and/or most desirable option.

you say payday advances are necessary. are usury interest rates necessary? you want to present yourself as representing a legitimate business, but your predatory practices put you in the same league as drug dealers and pimps. clean up your industry and you won't have to spend so much on lobbyists.
