I think that Ted Strickland brings an old school democratic value system to Ohio.

Im very impressed with the acoplisments ted has made here, bob taft ranked on the bottem of the usa's govonors. Plus ted has moviestar good looks.

Where was John when OHIO Needed Him?

Kacich was lining his pockets with bogus lehman bruddaha's firesale funds when ohio needed him most ,but our options were ted or ken blackwell(I voted for blackwell).
kasich apears to have bad hygene and is just a fugly looking person, he was living with another man in DC before he went & got married to make it apear he is hetrosexual.he is very unstable and has made a career out of being a suck to many upper class folks.
On his own kasich is nothing, just like one eve little mike.

Strickland has really done so much for us (wish you could hear the sarcasm). Kasich is nearly as big of a moron. Generally lean Republican, just wish there was a better candidate.
A former President, Clinton, who while in office committed felonies in an attempt to fix a court case in which an American citizen was the plaintiff and he himself was the defendant campaigned for Strickland.
The current President, who is obviously a marxist socialist who is deliberately attempting to destroy the private sector economy also campaigned for Strickland.

Kasich was the author of the balance budget amendment in the 90's. Kasich was one of the leading members of the Republican controlled Congress that created the projected budget surplus of the 90's.

Are Democratic values to empower government at the expense of the private sector?
This is what's being down. Strickland does not advocate proven solutions to boost the private sector economy.
Any solution that does not empower the government will not be considered by today's Democrat Party.
Government spending does not lead to sustained economic growth. This has been proven time after time.

It's amazing that in a state our size we can't produce anyone better than the two we have to choose from :( Ted is owned by the unions and Kasich is owned by corporate interests. The lack of a good choice is the result of the structure of our system. Campaign money corrupts the system and limits us to mediocre choices. For the first time ever, I am considering not voting.

Kasich is the best choice. Strickland is driving Ohio down the same path as California, bankrupt. He is wasting our money on projects like a train that goes 45 mph from Cincinnati to Dayton to Columbus in 4.5 hours and will take $17 million per year to maintain. Who will ride a train when they can get there in 1.5 hours by car? Strickland, like Washington DC is spending more money than we are taking in and we, the tax payer, will see higher taxes to make up for his mismanagement of the budget. Whether you like Kasich or not, he will balance the budget and do away with these stupid projects that we don't need. Kasich is the choice.

One more thing, what does a persons looks have to do with how well they'll help the state? Idiots like you don't need to vote. I think you should go back to kindergarten before you vote again to make sure you can read what's on the ballot since you don't know how to spell.

I'm 50 years old, and I haven't voted for a Democrat since my early 20's. However, I do see conservative values in Strickland such as the Castle Doctrine, CCW's, and the ability to possess a loaded firearm in your vehicle. He signed all bills related to this movement.

As reported by the news, we now have a record in frying the murderers that dwell in our prison system; eight so far. In my opinion, Kasich's devout religious values may hamper this advancement. I say, we should have somebody frying every single day in Ohio.

In spite of Kasich's claim that he is a pro-gun advocate, he did sign legislation banning assault weapons. On the other hand, Strickland signed bills taxing our hospitals, and created legislation that prohibited insurance companies from denying people with preexisting conditions from getting insurance which increases our healthcare premiums in Ohio.

I don't know. I'm still undecided. Strickland has done little for our state in regards to attracting jobs. Our unemployment rate is still above national average. But I do think of him when I strap on my gun, and know I have the legal right to defend myself because of Strickland.

I will probably remain undecided right up to the point I go to the voting booth. I am a conservative Republican, but it's hard to turn my back on somebody who promotes some conservative values regardless of his party.
