Let's not forget that this is the infamous relative of Jim Heaslip who murdered his wife Mary, while in a drunken rage in front of their children aged 4 and 6 and did little if no jail time. He is now out and living free and clear in South Carolina where a job waws waiting for him. I doubt that the apple falls too far from the tree.
Healsip and Nordquist appear to the public as drunks and if that's not bad enough, they preside over decisions on your life and family. Constantly making bad decisions (possibly that hangover doesn't help) Judge Kathryn Zenoff denies and ignores the fact the Steven L. Nordquist is a misogynist and systematically removes children away from their mothers and gives them on a "temporary" basis to their sexual or physical abuser (most often the sperm donor of that child). Judge Heaslip covers for Judge Nordquist and both reside in a courthouse full of shame, lies, deciet , payoffs, sexual favors and corruption. They both need to be taken or physically forced from the bench. Will Heaslip get probation for this? Hmmmmmm he hands it to everyone else. He and Steven Nordquist deserve some of their own punishment and Kathryn Zenoff needs to removed from her incompetent position as chief judge. In addition, Judge Zenoff misrepresented to the press about Judge Nordquist's transfer. He was moved PRIOR to the DUI not AFTER as she proudly tells the press. His alcoholism is being covered up as is his intense hatred of women.

I hope that Heaslip and other judges like him will be convicted of crimes they didn't commit (as well as crimes they are guilty of) on the basis of rumors and gossip the presiding judge heard outside of legal proceedings. Maybe then they will know what it feels like to be innocent but permanently personally and professionally harmed by a judge who denied them due process.

Heaslilp was not only charged with with providing alcohol to a a minor but now has also been charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

I was close to the family for a few years, and saw mr. heaslip in his drunkedness many times. he IS arrogant, he DOES think he is above the law, and it causes problems at home often. HIs wife is pathetic to stay at home and be belittled the way she is... o but wait.. she doesnt have the education to do anything else.
Not only that but he plays a huge part in his kids social lives... deciding who is best for them, who they can and cannot be with, with no reason..
Someone needs to give him a wakeup call!

James R. Heaslip DOB 7/8/53 Murdered his wife Mary on 9-4-95. He recieved a sentence of home confinement only and a $ 5,000 fine. Dan Cain was his Attorney and Coplan was presiding judge.

Winnebago County in Illinois is a county riddled with a sense of corruption in its "judicial system." It starts with the States Attorney -- Paul Logli -- whose office is permeated with revenge against those who have stood up against him. I know of several cases where his ASA's have gone after people who have either filed lawsuits or charges against his friends.

Then you look at the Winnebago judges, especially in the family court system. These people are either corrupt or totally incompetent. They are also driven by revenge. They are part of of "good ol' boys" network that consists of judges, attorneys, DCFS, counselors and child reps / GAL's. These "corrupt" (either eithically and/or morally) people have turned the family court system into their own business venture. They do their damnest to keep parents tied up in it forever so that they don't have to find new clients. They could care less about the children involved.

The male judges and attorneys in this county routinely offer to help women in exchange for sexual favors. Sometimes they follow through with the help, but most the time they just put a mark on their board for another sexual conquest and move on to some other woman's pants.[If you think I am a bitter woman, you are wrong. I am a man who knows the players in this county.]

The courthouse is a regular Peyton Place with bed-hopping judges and attorneys. Seversal female attoreys have slept with the very judges that they appear before with clients. Ya think there is a little conflict there?

The verbal and written comments about this county's legal system go along the lines of "the attorneys either join the network or they get beaten by it until they join." Another one is that if you have the network against you, you better get an out of county attorney who is not afraid of it. Another one is "Winnebago County, where they make up the laws as they go along."

Nordquist and Heaslip are two of the worst, but there are many right there with them.

Yes, it is time to rid this county of its entire legal system starting with Paul Logli and Judge Zenoff and most of her judges. It is time to destroy the "good ol' boys network" in this county. It is time to tear apart DCFS. It is time to rid the county of its most of its GAL's / Child Reps. It is time to put most of the counselors assoicated with the family court system into psychiatric wards.

Finally, I have never personally been in front of any of these people for any personal case. However, I know of many who have. I can not reveal either my name or my location for my own safety.
