Former Pittsburgh councilwoman surrenders for kickback sentence
A former Pittsburgh city councilwoman has surrendered to begin serving her 1- to 2-year state prison sentence for receiving more than $43,000 in kickbacks. via Centre Daily Times

This is a misuse of justice -- after seeing what the real criminals get this woman should not be behind bars. Her punishment should be hard labor working for the taxpayers that she stole from. She should shovel snow, clean sidewalks, mop the city/county building floors, etc., etc.
Jail is way too easy and the taxpayers do not get reimbursed. We still need to feed and clothe her. Why should the people in Erie county have their state taxes used to care for her? |
