I always purchase produce from local growers during the growing season..how can we get a college that feeds at least 300 hungry souls a day to buy/support our local farmers? Food costs are so out of control for those that cook/ pay for meal plans/budget all involved. Buying local is the way to go no questions asked....just do it dammit!!! Support those that feed us locally...i truly wish people would just get it, enjoy it and understand why it need to be done. We used to make it a weekend trip to buy wonderful produce/seafood...why any question?
