No-till farming can reduce the cost of fertelizer if done in the crop residues without the use of weed killer. Actualy no any crop consume nutrients from the soil but adding all the time. The loss of fertelity and water holding capacity is due to tillage. Carbon emission and soil erosion causing problem.
