I, too, campaigned for Clean Gene forty years ago, and I'm supporting Barack Obama because he seems much more like Eugene McCarthy than Clinton in philosophy and ability to inspire.

I've had my head crash against a glass ceiling, too -- and I sympathize with Hillary. But after carefully considering the two candidates (whose platforms are almost identical), I've decided that she is not the best person to bring the country together during this difficult period.

Obama's approach is one of collaborative, non-confrontational problem-solving and consensus building, whereas Hillary seems to have, ironically, a more patriarchal "I know what's best for you" trickle down style of leadership.

Sure, I would like to see a woman president ... and if she's the candidate, I would certainly support her. But I'd never vote for a woman just because she's a woman -- just as I'd never NOT vote for a woman because she's a woman. We older women certainly have been been treated unjustly because of sexism, but let's not be guilty of reverse sexism ourselves.

Am afraid of Barak Obama in that he impresses me to be a lot like Jimmy Carter that can't get anybody to control the budget and stand for fiscal responsibility. Both Hillary and Barak sure have to correct some of George's spending mismagement but sure don't trust Barak to do it.

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton.:-)

Best regards

jacksmith...

35 years eating at the Public Trough x 0 years of experience = 0 years of experience.

Being legaly married to the only "Inicted" President in the history of the United States is still "No Experience".

Kinda sad ...people think that Mr Bill Clinton was somehow great when he used his "Position of Authority" to manipulate a child into doing what the rest of us know what is,"IS"

"My husband was an offender"...Vote For Me!!

How did she even get this far....we are in trouble.

And what happened are the morals of the "Over 50's" that this article says are her voting block?

The reason people stay loyal to Hitlery is they have no clue what the issues are and don't care. They also don't comprehend that this is someone who wants to be dictator.

Charles Colson went to prison for having three FBI files, yet Craig Livinstone had about 300 and that was ok. For those of you who don't know, Craig Livingstone worked for Hitlery.

What the Clintons have done is compile such a huge list of Immoralities,Indencies,Inceden ts,Incredulas, Incomprehensible, and Intollerable charcter defects that trying to list them appears to be piling on these poor folks.
Those that make excuses for them because of their own selfish interests, have an easy time confusing the issue by "Picking the Fly crap out of the Pepper" and obfiscating the point.

You are right though J Adams....But you cite one of an impressive list of behaviors that would send any citizen to jail.

The worst offense to me is not these two stalwarts of "character defect", but the citizens that turn a blind eye to their criminality.

How many companies have been sued, How many mens lives have been destroyed, How many families have suffered because of the "Feminist Concept" of "Position Of Authority".

This is a chargeble offense in Criminal law, and a legal basis for a Lawsuit in Civil Law.

This is the greatest destruction the Clintons have brought to this country. The pass they got from the Feminists after his clearly immoral act, is so outrageous that all Feminists need to be discounted.
The Feminists have been shown to be nothing more than angry White Womyn bent on the emasculation of White males.
The 1st "Black President" got a pass from them because consistency of purpose and Equal Rights were never the objective... The feeling of power always was.
And any of these "Middle Aged Angry White Womyn" who make up Mrs Bill Clintons base, that complain today about their "Gal" not gitting a fair deal....We are tired of your anger....git used to being marginalized. You have been shown to be the Phonies you are. You have destroyed enough of this country...fade away quietly please.

I'm 59 5/6, female, and that's malarky -- a Clinton will NEVER have my vote, nor my support. Nobody sees a woman like another woman, and she's not a good person. She lies, she cheats, and she's willing to do/say anything to make the primaries go her way -- but, thankfully, there are enough people who are seeing through her!

It no doubt tells us that women over fifty are more comfortable with old corruption than new, and that they want socialism, er, free medical care now.

Hey, Jacksmith, didn't you ever learn that name calling is not a very thoughtful or effective form of argumentation? Ranting and raving and shouting IDIOT at the many good, intelligent people who happen to disagree with you can only harm your candidate, not help her. I'm not a Hillary fan, but she deserves better representation than you offer.

By back on its feet you must mean the demoncRATS will tax those of us who still have jobs into slavey. That is all demoncRATS know how to do. Now that is change.
More government jobs and handouts. Punish any succesful business or taxpayer. There is no doubt this is what would happen.

I'm an under-50 woman, and I'm not a Hillary fan either. I don't think I'd do it in 10+ years, either, when I get to that age group.
