I went by and noticed a clearance sign and "Going out of business" sign in the window. I can't believe it, it has been there forever. I always went in there first, before heading to the big box sporting good stores. They will be missed by us!

I for one will miss Everett Square Sporting Goods. I have so many fond memories growing up in Everett and Everett Square Sporting Goods is like my 6 degrees of separation. I remember playing stick ball behind the old high school and needing a bat and ball so I would run down the square and buy a can of tennis balls and a hockey stick and cut it down for a bat. All for less than $10. Best of luck guys.

I remember when yhey were across the street under the pool room where Sacro Plaza is now. Tony V always would give us a ball or bat if we didnt have the money{which we never did}. Good luck to his family and thanks from an old Everett guy.
