Mike Mangan is the only decent man in the race. He has my family's support.

I believe that there are some good people in the city that would be interested in running, but with the number of people and the name recognition they have keeps them from running. Too many people, too little time and a sense of entitlement confuses the race.

It's only a two year term. If someone really has an interest, they should get their act together, get support and a year from now run a campaign.

This is my problem with most of the people in this race. None have ever shown an interest. Now, they feel they can all just jump in and take the easy way out.

None of them with the exception of John Hanlon has campaigned for this. It's all about ulterior motive and a free easy job. You only go in when they are in session and that is not everyday. I question the attendance record of a lot of these politicians in race too. You think the state house is going to be any different?

To Choices and not many choices: do you have any suggestions who you would like to see run. I'm sure that you must know someone with or without state experience who you would like to see in the job.

Mangan-Carlo DeMaria

That's enough for me to not vote for Mangan.

I wonder if any of these candidates will stand up and fight against:

Deval Patrick's plan to increase income taxes
Deval Patrick's plan to increase sales taxes
Deval Patrick's Obamaesque executive order to give illegal immigrants in-state tuition
Deval Patrick's refusal to crack down on welfare fraud.

IF ANY OF THESE CANDIDATES SAY THEY WILL FIGHT ALL THESE THINGS, HE HAS MY VOTE!! I'll be asking. PEOPLE OF EVERETT...PLEASE STOP VOTING BY NAME RECOGNITION ALONE. Look where it got us with Smith. That is how this city got into this mess.

Mangan doesn't pay taxes in Everett but has no problem raising our taxes and spending our money. Whatever Carlo wants Mangan agrees to. Carlo says jump, Mangan says, how high.

It looks like Sergio, Hanlon and Matewsky should drop out now. The race is between Mangan and McGonagle.

There is no way in hell that Wayne would do anything stupid with absentee ballots, he wants to be State Rep and would never jepordize his chance to win this election.
He did do it

Keep drinking that Kool-aid. He in fact hand delivered ballots to City Hall, which is against State election laws. The State was notified and these absentee ballots are now under review and most probably will not be counted.
