Finally made it in last night, And WOW! Was more than impressed.. I went in with the mindset that it was the second day i would have to wait for my food a while. and i was totally wrong. I had my salad on time, and then my steak. Was in and out of there in a more than decent time. The Fortmans have done a fantastic job, not only have they put in a ton of hours on the place, but gave jobs to people in CC. Its so easy to look in and hate, why not embrace and enjoy? grow up CC.oh, and wanted to point out...grow up CC .... p.s. AT Willy's a 6oz Fillet was 24 dollars, the same price as the fortmans, 10oz. <quoted text>First of all, I don't think they have gave a Specific date for opening yet. Second, It's U.S. 40 not state rd.. Third, It was bought by the Fortman family and they are the owners of Cutshaws now!
The Fortmans have always owned Cutshaws and U.S. 40 is the same as highway 40......duhhhhhhhhh. The restaurant is open now and I ate there last night with my husband and it was great food and the atmosphere is awesome! I support small business in this country!

Wow you talk like you know them??? Jealous maybe??? Anyway who cares if they do or don't they are bringing jobs to Cambridge City and I support small business so if you wanna complain about people who think they are better than you then you should meet the CEO of Walmart. Your comment was ignorant and childish.

Oh yeah they work so hard. I bet its so hard to spend daddy's money! Those fortman kids never worked for anything! That's the problem with generation they don't know the value of a dollar!!!
WTF!!!! Everytime I go in that store (and I have been going there for 30+ years) Brent has been in there stocking shelves or working in the meat dept. don't give me that crap! Its people like you that are the reason small business can't make it in this country!!! You talk like you know them personally and you don't because if you did you wouldn't have made that ignorant and childish comment!

Know the Fortmans well - they are not only hard workers but incredibly decent and caring folks! While others throw stones at those who see a niche and build a dream, they stepped in and took a vacant storefront and brought it back to life! Don't know who, why or understand those people who choose to see the negative in this positive, but kudos to the Fortmans for caring enough about Cambridge City to want to add a star attraction that will benefit all!!

I agree. Fish sandwich and a drink $11.00. WOW! I was shocked.

@James I agree it seems high but since it is a local place owned by local people they don't have the buying power of the big restaurant chains, Chili's MacDonalds, Applebees etc. At least if you are eating theer you are putting money directly into the community Of course you can always do i what I do if you think it's too expensive an your too embarrased to leave just get an appetizer

I am pretty sure there was a side that came with that as well. Would you care to mention how big the sandwich was and what type of fish. You get what you pay for!! I had a frisco burger, waffle fries and a drink for under $10.00 Leftovers too. The sandwiches are huge. Great job Guys

My family has shopped at Cutshaws for nearly 40 years. The Fortmans have been very good to us. Everytime I go into the store, I see either Brent or Kent or both working.....and not just in the office. I hate to see these comments that are putting them down. They are really nice guys, and I am super happy for them.

The Fortmans are good folks who have worked hard and have a successful business because they do everything well. They have contributed much to the Cambridge City area -- providing jobs to students just starting out in the work world, carrying on their family's tradition of running a Class A grocery store in this small community with employees who are always respectful and courteous, and Kent and Brent, themselves, go out of their way to satisfy their customers with great products, an immaculate store, and excellent service. The Fortmans are an asset to Cambridge City, and I wish them every success with this new business venture!

That is your opinion. There are others that feel differently, for good reasons.

I agree 150%. Kids went off to college and then had to come back home and have daddy build them a business, "with grants" tax payers money. Isn't that nice.

Took my dad out there last Saturday for his birthday dinner. He had a 10oz sirloin which came with 2that sides, I had the southwest chicken which also had to sides and my girlfriend had the Cajun shrimp pasta Alfredo. My total bill has 38.00. So expensive? I think not. Only if your a cheap ass and if thats the case every drive thru has a dollar menu. Which is perfect for typical complainers who only go out to eat to nit pick and criticize every last ice cube. I have works d in the food industry for 18 years and most people who always look for a flaw are just meant to stay home. Because eberythingI can beto perfect sofor you just lookbeen for anythe reason to bitch and complain. When was the last time you were able to go to the grocery and get 3 different choices for one dinner for under 40? Never. So when it comes to restaurants realize it is the simplicity of being able to have an option for each person to pick what they want to eat. I wish people would get over themselves and realize not everything is always perfection or supposed to be. Jeez pompous ass jealous people. And btw the food was great! Servers were pleasantly friendly and my ONLY complaint is there was no type of bread or dinner rolls available. Other then that kudos to the owners, beautiful place and great investment. Hope they do well and excell tremendously.
