After reading a lot of these posts I just have to ask if anyone thinks there are any good teachers or administration left in this school district?
I have read a few comments that were positive but not many. So are there any decent teachers in this school?

Yes there are some really great teachers in Holdeville. And some that need to retire. The screaming teacher by the cafeteria is one that needs to retire or move away. Don't know her name but I have heard her a few times.I have to say most of the teachers were really nice and helpful at parent/ Teacher meetings. The secretaries in the high school were very helpful. The secretary in the Jr. high office is the rudist person I have ever had to talk to. She REALLY needs to retire. But not my problem any longer.I saw her talk so mean to a kid one day I thought no wonder these kids have a bad day.But for the most part they have some really great teachers.A few bad apples haven't ruined the whole bucket.Who is the lady by the cafeteria and what does she teach? Is she still there? Is the Sec.Faylynn still there didn't have to deal much with her.Hope they are both gone before my grandchildren get to high school.

I LOVE Fayelene. She cares about ALL the children. We are very lucky to have her. She has helped as my children have moved from jr. high to high school. She is the glue that holds that school together. She may seem hard, would you want to deal with all the problems from insolent teen-agers who are obsessed with cells and texting? I fully support her and am VERY glad we have her and LaDonna. Thanks ladies for caring.

I have to agree that she seems hard sometimes but when you really need help or something she is the one who will help you out and get things done. She can be scary sometimes though lol but if I ever have a problem she is the one who usually fixes it.
she does have to put up with a lot from kids i guess..never thought about how much she has to put up with everyday..so regardless of how scary she can be our school is lucky to have her.

Well I really didn't have to deal with her much (Fayelene)but the day I saw her she was really rude. Maybe she was having a bad day but we all have bad days and shouldn't let it go on children. I am glad to hear that people like her.I am sorry to offend anyone and that school needs someone to hold it together. And like I said the 2 ladies in the high school were very nice and helpful.Sorry

My children only attended the high school.I could make you a list but it would go on forever.Anyhow there are really good teachers there.

I agree that Mrs. Davidson and Mrs. Richmond are the best at math. They actually make math kinda fun. I would tell everyone to take their class.

Yes, we have some great teachers in our school system. I think that Mrs. Giles is the best thing that has ever happened to Thomas Elementary. She truly cares about her students and their education. Way to go Mrs. Giles.

Mrs. Davidson was my math teacher when I was in school. Yes she is AWESOME!!! She is very dedicated. Teachers like her are hard to find anymore. More teachers should try to follow in her footsteps.

Danielle Patterson is one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mrs. Patterson has high standards in her classroom but nothing that cannot be met. She is easy to communicate with and is always willing to work with my kids.

Mrs. Dunn(RIP), Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Carpenter, Mrs. Lawson and Mrs. Gaskins were great.
And too, who could forget Mr. Rusher and Nate the Talking Snake and the squirrel in a box?
I fear we shall never see their like again.

I have to say that the best principal i have ever had was Mr. Winlke he knew every student in the school by name not by reputation, Holdenville lost one of the best when they lost him, he really cared about his students. I was not an athelete or a brain just a average student but he still called me by name every time i passed him in the hall or anywhere outside of school that our paths happen to meet, Aww Mrs Dunn i loved her she truely cared as well as coach Ogle the world lost two of the best there how i wished we had more like these
