Barking Dog, Smoke Alarm Save Family From Burning Beltsville Home

A barking family dog and a smoke alarm are credited with saving a Prince George's County family from its burning home Tuesday.

This is not how this story was presented on the NEWS!!!
I saw 9 kids standing there with ONE adult.The women claimed they all were in one room.
She said she had them LOCKED in a room and was thankful she found the key quick enough.. HELLO!!!

I would like to know why this story is different than what was presented on the 9 NEWS LIVE??
I am livid that the women had the NERVE to say they were LOCKED in one room.
My ears DID NOT deceive me. She said they all lived there now I see this article says only 5 kids.

She also stated they were going to get rid of the dog but her husband said No, now we have 10 kids..

Am I deaf, did I not hear that correctly?

All concerned citizens should call child portective service in MD.

As far as I'm concerned those kids were better off being tied in the backyard with the DOG and not locked in a basement room.

The police, fire marshall and everyone else we saw on the scene, Id like to know why none of them picked up on this?

I believe nobody cares,they dont want more paper work.
