Heard about it too. I thought they had money problems in this town. Good. Shouldn't be any problems getting the rest of us those much needed raises in the village depts.

How can they hire someone for this position when they complain of money problems and can't pay the cops?

If one person is retiring, the village will replace him. So, there is no additional cost to the village.

a sad sad day in calumet park. Bob Talaski is retiring. He will be missed by many. He knew how to run his department if the officals would just leave him alone. Now he is leaving. He is now taking with him all his experence with him. How can they get rind of people that know what is going on. You would think the village would have done whatever they could to keep him here. The public works department will never be the same. Going down the hill already. Watch and see what happens next

bob talaski was a good man who did a great job nobody took care of the the village like he did, when it snowed no city or villae streets were as good as cal park. He got grant money to buy decent equipment and he took care of it, and do not forget his years with the fire dept. bob was just a real nice guy, lets see cal park fill those shoes.
