I don't live in the wild west, evidently you think we do. I don't see anything wrong with questioning the decisions made by five officers at a call that could not come up with another option before they put themselves in that position. And, by the way, if you are going to criticize someone's intelligence, maybe you should learn how to spell first.
Once he stabbed a police officer all options lead to one. Stop the threat by any means necessary. If you pull out a knife or a gun exspect to get shot. Bottom line.

How do you know they weren't at fault! How do you know the family hadn't been asking for help! You bet the death of a kid is a crime! How can you assume that they weren't receiving help! How do you know that the cops aren't CAMOUFLAGING something! I know that YOU don't know!!!!!!!!!!
This is what we do know by the families own admission. The kid was out of control. The family could not or did not want to take control of the kid the family called them 13 times prior to this call. The parents were waiting for some social agency to make decisions for them. The kid pulled a knife and stabbed a police officer. The police shot the kid twice in the chest. The family obtained a lawyer before the kid even got cold. The family is going to try and cash in on their ineptness as partents and the death of their kid. The family is blaming everyone but themselves.

what part of parents being responsible for their minor child do the parents not get. when they called 911 all deals are off. the cops now have to handle it. stab one, and the others shoot, thats how it works.

Not put their own selves in that situation the situation dictated the officers coming to the house by a 911 call and last I checked my spelling is pretty good Einstein how about yours?<quoted text>
I'd check again if I were you. Lots of red words, that should give you a clue.

It's difficult to take a post seriously when there are so many grammatical errors. It makes it seem the person posting is not very well educated. For example, the above post should read "you have nothing intelligent to say, so you resort to nonsense". I hope that helps you to understand.

One would think someone with intelligence would know spell check does get the best of you at times. You must keep up. I am sorry you are scorned and can not keep up with the times. You are right being uneducated like yourself would give you a complex and make you feel the need to correct just like you think you can correct officers for doing their job. I feel sorry for you too:( I think you should go back to school if you need a refresher.

It's not that I can't understand what you are trying to say. It's just that when you write like you do it takes too much effort. I'm a very busy person. But thanks for your concern, I appreciate it.

It might be helpful for you to know that if you actually knew how to write and spell you wouldn't need spell check.

Hey "whats up"......Someday I'll be living In a big ole city and all you're ever gonna be mean!! Too red for you?
The real issue for those of you who support law enforcement:
It took courage to protect that father and it's unfortunate that the officers who went to his rescue are the scapegoats....stay stong men!

And one more thing "what's up" in case you are confused this isn't about you it's a forum about the officers and the incident with this young boy. Kind of not about you. Hope you are not a school teacher! Poor kids!

For once I would have to agree. It's about the unnecessary death of a teen with a mental disability.

Would have to agree except for a couple of things. I believe we all support law enforcement. I believe that they also make mistakes that need to be addressed when they happen so they don't happen again. You also might want to know that there are women on the force now, so you might want to include them in your statements. I would assume you meant to say "stay strong men and women".

Yes, it is. And when it is underlined in RED it is meant for you to take notice and fix. Does that help you?

Really? I think you are someone who just likes to argue so respond to someone else! Thank you. I think I may know quite a few women who are officers. Good luck with life.

Oh, then I am quite surprised you didn't include them in your statement. I am sure they would feel a bit excluded, don't you?
