Men Charged With Raping Girl, 11, At Sleepover Party

Two adult men are due in bond court Thursday morning, on charges that they sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl during a sleepover party in south suburban Lansing.

Just wonderful. Great to know my neighbors are rapists. Hopefully this time these assbags will go to jail. Because nothing happened to him when he robbed a pizza guy last year, nothing happened to him when he was caught shooting a gun in the alley behind his house, nothing happened to him when there was a 20 person fight on Chicago ave. My windows have been smashed out and my car covered with food/garage all by the same people in the same house. These people are lower than scum. Just cemented the notion that my family and I are getting out of Lansing IL as fast as humanly possible.

Are these new neighbors? I want to leave too and I just moved here 6yrs ago. Has it really changed that much? I don't really hear of much crime here, but I keep seeing little chat rooms talking about how bad lansing is.

These two rapists claim they are forgiven by Jesus for all sins, past, present, and future, when they parroted 'The Sinners Prayer'.

Therefore they say that the judge and jury must let them go free because if Jesus forgave their sins, then everybody else should too. You got a problem with that?

a very very sad commentary on society today. lack of parenting, lack of discipline, lack of focus on education and morals. no concept of what it means to be civilized. much of it starts with a breakdown in family values and a huge void in the place of fathers. i can bet neither the monsters nor the victim have had fathers in their lives to teach/protect them.

So what are you saying ? Was it the little childs fault that she was raped because you think she did not have a father in her life ? That is a load of bull, that child was raped because two animals decided to vent their depravity on this poor little girl who was only on a sleepover with her friends when these animals decided to take away her innocence the child did not ask them to do this to her this was a violent crime not on the part of the child but by these two animals who should be castrated.

Without giving up too much information, I will say that I can see that house from my window. The rest of the block is fantastic, there is a great mix of people on the block, young to old, black, white, latino, and everybody gets along just fine. All our kids play together in the front yards. But that one house is just a disaster. The parents.....I don't even know who they are. The owner of the house doesn't even live there. The worst part, that little girl told the adults at the party, and the only reason Police got these guys, is because the girl told her parishioner at church on Monday....

The freaking adults at the party knew that girl was raped and did nothing. That whole house needs to be burned down with them all in it.
Our block would have 0 crime on it if the occupants of that house were "removed" from society.
I have lived in this house for 3 years now, and in that 3 years, I have lost count on how many times the police have been at that house. The absolute disgusting things those people do. The one neighbor had two boys around 5 years old, and the people in that house actually took bottles of piss and soaked those boys with it. They robbed a izza guy at gun point. Steven was caught shooting a gun in the alley. There was a 20 person brawl outside and they ended up ripping the downspouts off people houses and using them in the fight. There was a 7 year old girl that was staying there, that tried to stab another girl in the apartments down the street. The other neighbor has found his dog chewing on bloody tampons in HIS backyard. On top of the fat girl that lives there calling his wife and daughter fat bitches out her window when ever they walk by.

yes they will have their day in court it is just too bad that this country does not order castration for these sickos that rape these poor little kids It takes a years if not a lifetime for their bodies and minds to heal after suffering sexual abuse. It is not a one time event that child will have to live with the nightmares and the mistrust of men for the rest of her life. .....to reply this was truly is as sad event and I do appreciate all of the concern for her well being....to answer your question yes her mother and father is involved in her upbringing. Which includes church family time and discussion about life and this is why they will not get away with this as she informed her parents and they took they necessary steps yo ensure this will not happen to your children by these individuals.

My prayers go out to your niece and her parents i know what she is feeling and the turmoil her mind is in right now. You all need to reassure her that she did nothing wrong she is not at fault for what those animals did to her . Get her to a rape crisis center where she can talk about what happened to her with other survivors of rape she needs to get it out otherwise it will eat her up inside. I know what it can do to her if she does not get the help she needs right now. I am a survivor who spent many tortured years till i opened up to a councelor and got the help i needed to stop being a victim.

DCFS....? That's a joke in itself. I haven't called personally, but two other neighbors have, on several occasions. I've called Lansing P.D. when I see them get into their car with what appears to be a 2 year old with no car seat. All the police say is we need "proof".

can i just say a-man and also we have to be very careful where we let our children go , yes i realize we cant always know everything but if there was as much going on there as i read someone should have known and warned the parents of the children invited to the sleepover. just pray for our famlies that god keep us safe

sounds like the police are afraid of them...they think of reasons to stop people all the time.
