If you travel across the nation, you will find that the Church of Christ vary on doctrinal matters, such as the Holy Spirits role and Divorce and remarriage to name a few.

Some today are welcoming other groups like the Baptist into the fold, while others keep their peace by keeping silent on the issue.

My question: Can a Baptist be saved if he trust Jesus as his Lord and Savior. If Not, why not? Can anyone find one person that ever trusted Jesus who was rejected?

Not according to John Robertson and camp. If you are not with them you are against them even if you are trusting in Jesus.

They don't pay enough to the verses about being judged by the measure of our judgment on others.

"Master," said John,"we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us."
"Do not stop him," Jesus said, "for whoever is not against you is for you."..Luke 9:49-50
That shows right there that it's not about the group you're in, but if you are helping to advance God's Kingdom. Some would condemn Mother Teresa for being a Catholic.that's wrong

Oh yes I know my faith is in Jesus Christ and not in Mohammad.
Jesus answered, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
Jesus is the only way to God..not Mohammad.

Just because I was taking up for Mother Teresa doesn't mean I'm a Catholic, because I'm not.The world needs more people like Mother Teresa, and a lot less people like the World Trade Center bombers. Would you agree or disagree? Do you really think that they are getting their rewarded of "72 Black eyed virgins"???

72 virgins as a reward for murder?
That's a lie from the devil, is that who you follow?

If someone believes it is a sin to use instruments even though he may be wrong, does God judge him if he uses instruments anyway?

Said another way, If a woman believes it is a sin to wear a pants suit to church, is it a sin if she violates her own conscience and wears one to church anyway?

Both of these (coc)issues are laws created from the silence of scripture.

Oranges meet apples.

First of all, the New Testament {specifies} that we sing; and it {specifies} that the melody come from within, not upon an amped up Guitar with tom-tom drums pumping a beat similar to rock and roll. Paul specified so its not about silence but about what he said to do.

If it is oranges and apples, how do you deal with women wearing pants????

Besides that, you are completely wrong about the sing only idea, the scripture does not say that, it is implied by using the silence of scripture- ceni

I don’t care if a woman wears pants long as they are not something that reveals her in ways that might be sinful. Would you allow a woman to attend your church in bathing suit. Why not?

Paul said sing. He said sing with the instrument within. There is nothing silence commands there it is specified clearly. Dip in the river 7 times is a specific statement. No need to go on what it doesn’t say. Silence doesn’t direct anything here. The command is our guide not the silence. Even history shows that the church never used musical instruments. This come through the door by the Catholics. Did you ever tell your kids to sit down and behave. Did they obey the stated command or were they following silence. When something is specified we know what to do without a guide from silence.

Will every Baptist go to Heaven? Will every Baptist go to Hell?
When Joshua & his army were going to destroy Jerico they spared Rahab & her family. Joshua 6:25
Ananias & Sapphira were struck down for lying to the Holy Spirit in the first church. Acts 5:1
Even the twelve disciples had Judas.
Is any group all good or all bad? People like to stereotype.God judges differently...
But the Lord said to Samuel,"Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:7
I've been to different churches of different denominations and it's the people who make the difference, not the name on the sign out front.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10

The Bible tells us to be good to our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are united by our faith in Christ, but some want to make denomination a sin and thus divide the believers.

Bfrank. I will be frank with you ;) A person must come to God as Paul did and as Peter commanded. I see no way around this. Just as you, I too have been to many “churches” so I know a bit about this. We cant church as we please and we cant get into the body anyway we please. No sinners prayer anywhere in NT Bible and not asking God into our hearts for forgiveness and salvation. This is man made.
