I've spent far too much time here 'debating','defending', and reminding what Master YHWH Y'shua taught. At one time it seemed good, but most reasonable and honest have moved on and only a few remain to discuss topics - most are just rude - but not all.

So long Topix buddies, but I don't have time to beat dead horses.

4:17; "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
"Y'shua would preach in all Galeela and would teach in their assemblies. And he preached the Hope of the Kingdom and healed every disease and sickness among the people.
'Blessed'(goodness towards you)'are they who are poor in spirit, because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.' Is 57:15; 66:2
'Blessed are they who are mourning, because they will be comforted. Is 61:2; 66:10-12
'Blessed are they who are meek because they will inherit the earth. Ps 37:11; 149:4
'Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness because they will be satisfied. Ze 2:3; Ps 11:3-7; Is 66:11,12
'Blessed are they who are merciful because mercies will be upon them. Ps 18:25; 2 Sa 22:26
'Blessed are they who are pure in their hearts because they will see Elohim. Ps 24:4; 51:10; 15:1,2
'Blessed are they who make peace because they will be called the sons of Elohim Ps 122:8,9; Is 26:12; Ps 72:3-7

Blessed are you whenever they curse you and they persecute you and they say every evil word about you falsely because of me. Ps 119: 85-87
'5:16; "Let your light shine so before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
5:17; "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets."
"Do not think that I have come to loosen Torah or the prophets. I have not come to loosen but to fulfill." (Due 4:2; 13:1; 12:32)

5:18; "; till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."
"For truly I say to you that until heaven and earth pass away, not one Yodh or one stroke will pass from Torah until everything happens."
5:19; "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven;"
" All who loosen, therefore, from one (of) these small commandments and teach thus to the sons of man, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven."

It seemed "good" when one SS adherent would throw out personal interpretations to another SS adherent's personal interpretations and you would disagree with each other.

But that made both feel good about themselves because then you both could show each other that you "knew" scripture.

In reality, it meant nothing.

Apparently, you were a preacher. When you don't know and deny the truth, it is one thing for to possibly lose you own soul. But to drag other people along with you, is the much more grave.

Come home to the Church that Jesus started and promised would never fail. He created just 1 Church with Authority. He prayed all be as one.

It is realization you will have to make with your mind, not with you emotions.

Mark and you certainly have shown no one any knowledge of scripture. I hope Barnsweb rests up and comes back. Everyone gets bored at some point and feels it is a waste of time, kinda like trying to talk to a Catholic about scripture.

He is not a Christian. If he wasnt pulling our leg, he disavows the Bible.

Catholics about scripture? What Protestants agree with you?

You dont even know the true history of the scriptures. You worship a CAtholic book

Can't you get it through your head no one has to show you sh*t? Your sole purpose here is to bash Catholics and to cut and paste from your new found cult of the day. That's all. So you may as well stop pretending you're doing anyone a favor by being here.

No one is bashing the CC. It just that some of the teachings are wrong. Mary and statue worship is one of them. Bowing to a person who claims to be Christ on earth. If that was so, why did Jesus say he will return. If the Pope is who he says he is, Jesus does not need to return and God will will be done right now.. This is some of the problems that I started to think about, has I started to grow. The Pagan worship of Christmas and Easter also. The basic teachings of the CC is right, but goes off track with other forms of teaching.

Maybe a break will do some good? At least a break from most of the group here. Recall when the debate was mainly between 'low end prots' who at least shared views of particular passages and we all certainly gave feedback - especially to 'Johnny' or 'Johnny Marrs'? Bobby is true to the core of what he believes, but it's sad the group he's with now doesn't abide in the teachings of Jesus.

Putting my boots on the ground to the message is what my task is now, and in spite of our differences, you've been a blessing to me. Many have disagreed, but steel can sharpen steel, and I've used the opportunity to see what main arguments against what I've learned are, and it seems to be a good time to switch gears to the next one at this time.

Best to most of you here, but to those who refuse to hear what Jesus said or to come to Him to know the truth - you can't know the truth by denying it. I could hope you aren't among those that He said don't come to Him to know because of the evil they do - they avoid exposure to the light of His word, truth and example. The world is full of people afraid to be exposed to light because they fear it will expose and destroy their delusions.

The truth of Jesus Christ is a powerful thing. Revelation even notes those who endure what is coming upon the earth have a great love for His word as they lived faithfully to Him until the end. Revelation also says the Bride made herself ready.

Anyone else considering the latest Mideast crisis of war, and a bargan in the works, that possibly when they say 'peace! peace!' then comes 'sudden destruction'?

Whatever it is, we are advised to be in prayer that we are worthy to escape that which is coming upon the world.

I'd say 'good luck to all', but it really isn't about luck;-) Maybe I'll check back once in a while....

Nope, not a preacher. I realized I had no business at 20 to be telling someone who was far more experienced then me what they should be doing. I also know preachers can't really say what they believe - sort of like the corporate leader who has to tow the corporate line. So as an individual, I can speak the truth and not fear loosing my job.

Thanks for your concern, but I wholeheartedly believe it is the CC that endangers the souls of men - as they follow Paul and not Jesus. Paul taught submission to earthly rulers, so when the RCC 'Christianized' the Roman world, the authority of man passed to a man made religion that abandoned the truth from the beginning. The fruit is they continue to do so. Even most RCC don't have a stomach for it - look at the 'membership roll' VS how few of them actually attend daily or weekly mass.

You can't yourself for the beams the Pope has heaped on your eyes?
Maybe you too could spend some good time revisiting the Author of Salvation and learn what He actually taught, and then consider if you are going to be just a hearer, or a doer of His word.

Who in the hell are you to say "...some of the teachings are wrong?" You have no authority whatsoever to contradict 2,000 years of apostolic teaching and the witness of millions upon millions of holy men and women throughout the centuries. If you don't like it, fine. Just go away and take the nutjob barndude with you. Here's an idea why don't the two of you form your own new denomination and hire the defrocked Sproul creep as your preacher? Barndude can be in charge of fruitcake and you can be in charge of spelling, history and E=mc2.

You have been a blessing to us also. You made all of us think and you don't fit into any category, you are original. Most posters on here are original thinkers, with the exception of Mark and Mike. They don't think at all. Topix is a good place for those that do not fit into a mold. Everyone on here has that in common, lol.

If I could reach through that screen I would grab you by the neck and blacken both of your blue Utah eyes then body slam you on my keyboard and then power down my computer and then throw you right back into the now completely darkened screen I pulled you out of to start with so that you will be lost in darkened cyber space forever with no hope of ever being powered back up again.
