Imagine this, tourists come over from SF on the ferry and could rent bikes at the ferry terminal. Then ride up to Napa and beyond. I'm sure allot of people living in SF also would be interested in bringing their bikes over knowing there was a safe route up to the Napa Valley. I hope this is completed before I'm to old to ride it.

Another boondoggle waste of precious tax payer dollars. Nobody uses these stupid "bike paths"; look at the multi-million dollar two-lane "bike path" between Fairfield and Vallejo. In the ten or so years since it was built I have NEVER seen even one biker on this pork-barrel theft of my hard-earned taxes.

Why don't we set that little puppy aside for a few spells?

I think Napa has bigger fish to fry with a higher priority. The bike paths in Fairfield and Vacaville have turned into a super highway for the homeless and criminal perps to traverse.

Note, the police do not routinely patrol those cute little creations!

Stop spending like a Democrat when times are tough! Clue!

Ya...you guys are right. Lets put more money into our police and fire. People in the Vallejo area don't need the things that make a community nice...

Dear PSU Bungholes,

The reason nobody uses the bike path between Vallejo and Fairfield is b/c it doesn't go to Fairfield. When it's finished people will use it but right now it's like a bridge to nowhere. And who gives a flip if the police don't patrol them. They patrol in downtown and look at all the crime that goes on there. And yo Mike, do you live in Walnut Creek? If you do you know damn well how nice it is to have something like bicycle paths. that is if you can manage to get off your _at _ss long enough to enjoy.

Why don't you guys go back to your _itch'n about Gomes and leave the big thinking to people who want to see Vallejo turn around.
