And we have 501 school districts and an absurd number of local police departments.

I hope this is not the same Mary Butts who is married to our Jury Commissioner! This is the epitome of hypocrisy!!!! If you really cared about government spending, your husband would resign his do-nothing position for which he gets paid 15k.

Pennsylvania will never change, at least as long as we have Democrat or RINO governors. The state government is one huge feeding trough for the biggest bunch of hogs in America. This state WORSHIPS government bureacracy.

Our state also has a Democratic President that lags wwwaaayyy beyond frugality. I guess we are just following the leader. Far beyond the misuse of taxpayer money, what kind of example is set when, in these economics times, our President jets off for dinner and a show? Especially when his constituents have enough trouble just getting dinner??

Let's see Congress and Senators take a big pay cut. Talk about hogs. Let them put the hours in that the real working person does, also get only the number of vacation days that the real people get. Time for a BIG change! These people have been living off the poor taxpayers. They are all CROOKED!

Say what you will about Harrisburg and it's politico's ,but Sacramento and Ca are just a plain mess from a political and economic standpoint.

Sales tax is 9.5%,state income tax is also at 10% and one out of 10 people in Cali is an illegal.

Just because there are less legislators, does not mean they are better in terms of an efficient government.

Ca will be bankrupt in a month or two ,Pa will not.
