This is very bad. I feel very sorry for the lady. Moberly has been though this before and protected the teacher. We went to school there, this is a GOOD OLD BOY club here. They just settled out of court on a law suit.

I consulted my magic 8-ball, which said that all signs point to Moberly Junior High between 1979 and 1981. I think it started to mention the Science Department, but faded out before I could get an accurate reading.

I have a couple of suspects in my mind.

They covered one up right after that. A teacher was playing with students. Every school in this county has this problem.

Do not be misled. As it applies to my personal hell, this did not originate in the science department. Soon, more details will be clear to the public. You do have the years right, though.

Must have been well before me. In Junior High, we didn't have "art". Only Home Ec and Shop. Moberly has seemed to be in some hot water with their teachers/principals in the last few years. Not good.

I went to school in the Moberly School System and it is horrible - We are going to move out of the district before our daughter starts school to ensure she gets a proper education and does not have to deal with all the bs of Moberly Schools

I just hope Ms Davis is doing better. This crap happens everywhere. I'll bet money Amy went to school with my brother he was in the class of 83. People need to stand up and stop this. This happened around the same time another one did in Moberly They sent him up to the offices at the old middle school on Johnson street. Huntsville had problems 2 years ago. The jerk got away.

is anyone's child having trouble with the alternative school in Moberly? I can't figure these people out. They're supposed to help kids with ADHD or ADD out and all I see and hear about is the way they nit-pick and hand out slips for every little thing. Some of these kids couldn't function is a normal school enviroment so they are put here and these people expect more from them than the regular schools?????

I think the alternative school is a joke. These kids get late starts, shorten days, big comfy chairs, and very little homework. So now people are complaining that they are getting in nit-picked because they are expected to behave even after being accomadated. When they get out in the real world no one is going to care if they if they have ADHD or ADD. Kids that had this while I was in school,(not that long ago), had to deal with it and function school like everyone else.

One girl in the alt-school said, a while back, that she liked the alt-school because she "wasn't a morning person and needed her sleep".......

Last I heard this person is still teaching but I have never heard a name.

Whoever this teacher is, you would think they would be on suspension. DUH! I know in my place of employment if you were arrested you would be suspended until proven innocent. Of course this person was never arrested either, but you would think they would have some policy in place "in case" this person is guilty to protect the kid. At least an investigation? Who is the teacher?
