Class-action lawsuit filed against Columbia oncologist

A former oncologist who recently surrendered his license and paid a $1 million fine stemming from accusations of Medicare fraud is now the focus of a class-action lawsuit.

First what kind of lawyer would represent this scum bag second he convicted in a criminal court what the hell makes the lawyer think there is not just cause for a civil suit... he would have been better off going with the insanity plea.. because these doc.'s have to be insane for treating CANCER patients with dilluted medicine how could they have slept at night AAAAAAGH!!!!

There is so much Medicare fraud out there it is a joke.
I can guarantee you that probably 95% of health care providers, hospitals, nursing homes you name it are ripping off Medicare.

These are the people that George Bush wants to help by giving them tax breaks and then stopping people who do not have a lot of money from being able to sue. Well proud missourian you have proved once again that critical thinking is what Americans (if you are american) need. I did not complain about my life, I have worked since I was 9 and have never asked for help. You missed every point probably because your head is up your boyfriends but. Try pulling your head out of your boyfriends ass and living in reality. It is wrong to allow frauds (Lay, Delay, Bush, Chenney) from ripping off honest taxpaying americans and then pass laws that stop honest taxpaying Americans from suing these lyers you pray to every night. If you want to remove the right to a trial, then pass a law that allows those who have been intentionally harmed the right to kill those people who intentionally hurt others for their own personal gain.

i would like to now were the money from the class action suit in minnesota went . i have a friend who has a days to live and there is no help for his family. minnesota has received millon of dollars form the tabbco companys . were is the money for the people who smoke and are dying from cancer. i think it time we the poeple get your freedom back

I dont mean to be mean when I say this and I am sure I will hear about it before it is all said and done. but in all honesty No one told these people to smoke and it is not really the tobacco companys fault. For one they do have warning labels on the products that they sell. it would be like me sueing dr pepper for having me be addicted to the taste and their product. or someone sueing budwiser because they got in a car wreck and hurt themselves or others, People really need to take responsiblity for themselves and not blame others.

Where is this Dr. now? The goverment wanted their money back.What about the lives he may have taken away by his greed for money?It would sure give some families closure if they knew there loved one wasn't done this way.We thought our Mother died from her illness.Or did she die from the hands of this greedy man? We will probably never know!I hope and pray she was not murdered by this man.

Every body needs to read the story first. This doctor has saved many lives around this area. He probally has saved more lives than any other doctors in his field! It is not a question of money, it is the question of giving poeple cancer drugs. TY

What a croc! This man is unhuman to do this to anyone. How would you feel if your mom, dad, brother or sister and they were treated with diluted chemotherapy???

How do you know he saved more lives than he took?

I think it's sick to do this to anyone who has been devastated with a cancer diagnosis (as well as devastating to the family).

Have you seen where he lives? His big house and big yard were probably paid for by his profits from his practice. He should have to sell it all to pay back what he cheated the patients/insurance companies out of.
