I think he's trying to put out a bunch of "happy horses**t" as my father used to say. Did he think the girls were on a one-year tour of Europe? Did he think the surviving girl didn't like to eat?

I know he knew something. Read the article on www.nbc4.com.ne ws/details. If you from DC you know how Pat Collins the news reporter from channel 4 can be aggressive with an interview.
He said "Look, I'm scared to death," "Aint't nobody explained the laws or nothing else to me. If the police need me to come talk to them, "I ain't doing nothing wrong. I'll talk to them as much as they want."
Quote unquote.
That's a scared dude.

Its ashame that the dc social services didn't do everything they could to keep up with the family even if its once a year. These children are a victims. I hope that with this case and the case in DC where the 4 girls were found dead will open D.C. eyes and try to prevent this from ever occurring again. Its hard to not blame someone because the caseloads in D.C. are overwhelming but these children are solely relying upon the better judgment of these social workers to keep them safe.
I'm truly heartbroken and can honestly say i cant wait to be done with college and become the social worker i have always wanted to be and help fight this type of abuse and murder.
I think alot of the people on this are forgetting the victims. who cares who your voting for or who you want to vote for who. if you are speaking of race then you missed the point of this whole ordeal. These children were failed miserably. If you have that much time and effort to talk about race then put that energy into fixing D.C's social services and make a difference.

Did anyone ever consider that this guy got involved with this woman AFTER the two girls were killed? That still does not explain why he wouldn't notice how badly the surviving child was being treated. I also feel he knows more than he's willing to talk about. He sounds really dumb, but at least he's smart enough to realize what you say can be used against you.

At the very least, he should be charged as an accessory to the abuse of the surviving girl. There is no way he could be living with her for any period of time and not know what was going on with that poor child.

actually he isn't smart at all...someone else on this thread gave a link showing all the charges in the past for him and for her...if he was so smart then he wouldn't say squat...but acting like the idiot he is "oh i don't know anything about legal stuff and talk, someone i need a lawyer or something" he's an idiot...out in the news sayin shit...dumb dumb dumb as a brick which is probably why he has past charges

Let this be a lesson, boys and girls! Always look in your significant other's freezers, ESPECIALLY the ones big enough to hold human corpses. Or else you could be the next one to get freezer burn.

Some things that you can't help but get quite personal about but this lady happened to be one of my former students at one of my teaching jobs in Vienna, Va. some years back. She was a good student. I remember her telling me back then that she has lived in "substandard neighborhoods" and now, I can understand her plight. It is sad that she had to go through this. She never did anything wrong to anyone but this is quite weird. The woman was stabbed multiple times by a burglar who broke into her rowhouse near 14th & G Sts, SE Monday night. The condition of the 23-year-old victim was improving from critical on Tuesday. She has mentioned to others that "the neighborhood has a problem with theft and violence" and she is right in which certain sections are quite bad. Neighbors say the victim had just moved into the rowhouse located near the Potomac Ave Metro station last Saturday. The attack happened two night later shortly before midnight. Police say the burglar entered through one of the few windows in that block of 14th St that didn't have bars. The victim was asleep in her basement apartment and was awakened by the noise. She went upstairs and discovered the burglar. Police say she ran back down to the basement and locked herself in a bathroom where her screams for help apparently weren't heard. At some point she came out of the bathroom and was confronted by the burglar who was armed with a knife. She was stabbed multiple times. Neighbors say she managed to fight him off and ran to the front door of her rowhouse bleeding profusely where she again screamed for help. The motive for the burglar remains unclear, according to police. Neighbors point out three women live in the rowhouse and suspect it was an intended sexual assault. Residents of the neighborhood say while there have been several muggings of commuters coming from Metro station in recent months, there have been no violent assaults during late night burglaries. The late night thefts and no violence are of surprise because usually a theft is accompanied by some violence. Here in Maryland, every burglary is accompanied by some assault. Just last week, as a homeless man was stealing money from a lady's car and when the lady confronted the man, the man stabbed the lady in the stomach with a hunting knife that he stole from a hardware store in Montgomery Village. I found out from one of the detectives working for the Montgomery County Police when the suspect was arrested near the Herrington Cove complex but near Smoothstone Way. He was hanging out near a park there before police came up.
Hey dude, I hear that you are a cop judge and a grandfather. Is that true dude? Us langley park dudes are good homeys and the ms-13 and al-quaida plan to take over the montgoemry county and the world too homey.
