Woman Shot in Head, Lives to Tell

In Ohio County, Kentucky a woman says she was shot through her kitchen window. Dispatchers got a call from Nicki Smeathers of Utica, who lives in the Buford area on Highway 231 North.

I sometimes fear that the Owensborro resident who is a former resident of Louisiana and who comes back to Louisiana on a regular basis and who allows her young son to play with a deadly weapon as though it were a toy even when her 3 year old grandaughter is present,
Well I am afraid those boys will shoot someone in the head someday because the boys are troubled kids with anger issues and they even shoot at the road or targets across the road they do it all the time.

The wild boys are like there dad there raised to believe they have the right name ect and they do what they want when they want to do it ,it doesn't matter who gets hurt.
they really don't seem to be afraid of the law I guess they just figure they will get out of it again if the law is after them in one state they will just go to the other until it blows over.

Is she involved in something she has no business. Sometimes you never know both sides of the story.There seems to be a lot of things that aren't ever really told or that doesn't get told about the other person.
