its apparent that what I read and hear from tax payers and govt is complaints and animosity tears one another I too have hard feelings but the job I do I feel alone cause when it comes to asking people face to face I get no response but when I come here people can offer their opinion.I see both sides so bobtail and tax payer views are welcome WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MAKE THE CITY AND COUNTY MORE EFFICENT AND PRODUCTIVE
just a thought

How about firing all the commissioners next election, and pressure them to layoff and hire a completely new bureaucracy with people who will actually do their jobs?
Freemasons, welfare recipients, and former government workers need not apply.

Well there is just a thought but has any advocation on important issues to you just a thought been considered cause out side of your anger you r politically minded but just anger driven and that believe or not is grounds to advocate your beliefs

Mr Putnam you bring an interesting point which I might say I side on this would leave oppurtunity for new change but would this give enough time for it though??? You can't rely on the next Guy in office to uphold the last officials policies and two years may or may not be enough Donald you pose an interesting debate I must say.

Who are you limiting terms? The constitution allows the constitutional offices to not have a term limit, clerk of court probate judge and sheriff.

I said 2 term not 2 years, if it's a 2 year position then they get 4 years in office max.

this was his opinion in which anyone is entitled to which if both sides were looked at it can open up a lot of possibilities such as alleviating one family running the town their way and only their way I asked he said ease on the nail driving its an opinion you got one I'd lime to hear it he's right most local elections are a joke cause hardley anyone can drive a hard campaigners the ralston banks is primary example banks did not come across as someone who wanted office that bad he ran people voted good if not back to his job he didn't prove worthy or he'd have got more votes

Well there are a lot of things that can be done but most things start at home. True fix starts when we look in the mirror. I don't care who sheriff is I don't plan on meeting him unless I need them, looks like the sheriff department does a lot of good though. So I like him and I have met me Walraven seems sincere

I hear a lot of talk on term limits. I don't think that the majority of the people want term limits. If they did no one would ever be elected over 2 terms.

The same thing that makes a private company efficient and productive. Cleaning house is not the answer.

Less bureaucracy from the state level. City/County need less rules and restrictions to be able make decisions without state/federal mandates.

Employees who take pride and are thankful to have a job.

Good leadership from elected officials and department heads.

I for one would vote more productiveness also agencies that have more experience in what they for but sounds like all you want to do is not be negotiable Mr Putnam read other post about a Guy pointing a gun at you sorry to hear the police did abosolutly nothing be glad you weren't shot not the case myself but stop with all the racisim I asked opinions so Mandy I'd be good to have a dfacs IA cause money isn't being managed well by them did you all think as you ragged the poor want them crusified worse then Christ Manet it'll take us to get the ones scaming enter but you'd think I get that and I don't collect enter y I'm anti dfacs
But as I'm trying to stop them I don't see any of you helping just complaining that's all.
