you should be comfortable with your choice, however....

Dr. Taylor literally saw to it my grandson made it to our family. Dr. Taylor didn't give up on my daughter, her family, or my grandson, when she went into labor at 21 weeks. Had it not been for her, he simply would not be with us now.

We are very grateful, not only to her, but to all who cared for our loved ones.

An aside--In addition to the stellar care my daughter got from Dr. Taylor, she also took her time to draft letters to whomever was necessary to see to it that a covered procedure was covered.(not one of her charges either) She took the time to talk to my daughter--from HOME--taking from her personal time with her family--all for a charged item that wasn't even hers.

This grandmother would recommend her to anyone--if you are lucky enough to get in to see her, she does care, and will give 100% of herself to her patient's care.

BTW--I just stumbled onto this post--and simply had to reply.

She seemed perfectly nice with me. You live very far away. Are you sure this is the same doctor you're thinking about?

Why would someone give Find Another the mean face? Just because you don't agree with her doesn't mean you need to be horses asses. Then again, that seems to be the going theme on these boards. Don't agree and attack right? Morons.

As for the doctor? I have no experience with this doctor but contrary to popular belief, doctors do have to take time off. Some people think they should work 24/7. Has she been negligent? Has she killed someone due to this? If not then she's still qualified to practice. She is not the only OB in that area. Choose another and quit your sniveling.

Now you can leave mean faces for me. ;)

Signed,
Been there.

Dr. Taylor is full of shit, end of story. I live in this damn town and she is my doctor and I HATE going to her, but its hard to change doctors when there are only like 3 others to pick from and they are too busy to get new people. Dr. Taylor is a bitch Im sorry, I deal with her all the time, I know. I would never tell anyone to go to her and after my baby is born I wont be going to her ever again.

Dr. Taylor followed up in place of my regular OBGYN 4 days after I delivered and went home, ended up back at the hospital with infection, horrible pain. Refused to do D&C to get rid of infection and had to wait from thursday until monday for my regular doctor to come back and do it. She is short with patients, will not fully explain things, and does not refer often to file on patients she is not familiar with.

I love and trust Dr. Taylor. She has taken wonderful care of me before during and after my pregnancy. I have high risk pregnancies and trust her with our lives.
She called to check with me before she would leave for weekends, she came in and delivered my baby on vacation. She is a mother and very understanding. She took our financial situation into consideration on every test ordered and even slid some through.
All I can say is you get what you give. Patience and understanding will be returned if you give them.
I recommend Dr. Taylor above all others

Dr.Taylor told me when she delivered my baby everything was fine, all drug screening results were negative.Hours later a CPS worker came & told me I was reported for testing positive for meth & THC.Morning after about 10:30 CPS came in & took my 26hr.old daughter saying she tested positive for THC.Documents showing positive weren't recieved until a week later. So how can anyone trust that lying, baby snatching BITCH??? I think she recieves a % of the foster payments.CHANGE YOUR DR. OR SHE"LL TAKE YOUR CHILD!!!!!! B.E.

Dr. Taylor is caring and considerate. She was always conscientious, and she let me do things the way I wanted during my pregnancy and delivery. When it turned out I couldn't have a natural childbirth, she did a great job with my c-section. I've healed perfectly, and my scar is barely visible because of her skill making the incision. Like most mothers, she is busy with her children, and I can't fault her for that; they should come first. People may think she is a little short in her responses, but she is so busy, she has to act quickly. She does listen, and she does care. But the patient has to act concerned if they want her to help. She's not going to pamper anyone who doesn't want help, and I can't blame her. I agree with Danielle Jay: you get what you give. If you care about yourself and your baby, she'll care about you. And if you don't, I can't blame her for not being "helpful." She has a big heart for the babies of this town, and she puts them first.

She didn't believe me about my due date. My husband lived in Michigan. I only saw him a few days every six weeks for almost a year. I know when I got pregnant! Every ultrasound besides the first one matched the date I said. The ultrasound tech even told her that the date from the initial one was wrong. She still didn't change my official due date. When I went into labor (when I told her I would) she tried to stop my labor. When that didn't work, she left me laboring for 33 hours. Twenty minutes into pushing, she told me to stop so she could check on another patient. I cried & the hospital nurse agreed to stay with me so I could keep pushing. She came back in when I asked the nurse to get her (an hour later). My pelvis was too narrow & my son couldn't come out. I had to beg her to help me. She finally used the suction. He had a broken nose, bruised lips, breathing problems the first month or so, & had a neck injury because of all that. My epidural wore off several hours before my son was born. She started stitching without giving me a local. She even rudely asked if it really hurt it or not. Horrible. Horrible Experience.

is this the only place to find reviews on this doctor? I just moved to the area and so far everyone at my work that is pregnant goes to Dr. Taylor and have nothing bad to say about her. I am a little worried by some of the posts here but i imagine that different personalities clash and its possible for some people to take a good doctor the wrong way. I just wish their were more information or comments. I am probably going to be considered high risk this time around, it may be my last pregnancy and I want to make it the best experience possible! I am awaiting confirmation right now on whether or not she will even see me and how much she will charge. Any more info would be appreciated to help me make my decision if she says yes.

Good luck, I saw her for the first part of my pregnancy, I found another doctor, she can be nice as long as you don't ask to many questions. Find some moms that she has delivered or missed there delivery. The doctor I see now you may have to wait a little to see for the first visit but its worth it.

I felt so taken advantage of and treated like i was just put into a cookie cutter system and not treated individually enough once I was in labor. I should have asked more questions because dr Taylor Never discussed the actual labor process once with me. I just read alot and had many of my fears confirmed at Mcso. I wanted a labor that, if it happened on it's own, could progress on it's own. Even though my water did break on it's own, i was a 3 when i checked in, but they pretty much insisted I had to take pitocin or end up with a c section, and I'd only been there a few hours ! I still had not Seen dr Taylor yet, then I went walking to try and progress my labor naturally and she was outside going to her car and was like hey I'm going to the foreigner concert at Choctaw I'll be back in a few hours they may be putting you on pitocin to get things going! I was just like ok...she did come back a few hours later to check on me After the nurse basically scared me into taking it becausr i hadnt dilated enough. Of course it did everything I was scared it would do. First I couldn't walk any more because your hooked up to an IV, I took the epidural because the contractions are unnaturally harder and more painful, so your stuck in bed on your back, and my babys heart would slow down stop and then resume and I totally freaked out and called the nurse in who acted like she already knew and lowered the dosage for a bit. If she knew and could hear his heartbeat out of the room why did I have to call her in? I didn't see dr Taylor again til after I'd already started pushing, and it was just for a minute. and I wasn't doing so great pushing yet. My epidural had wore off ( one nurse even told me later she couldn't believe I hadn't been redosed and she felt so sorry for me) I kept standing up in my stirrups because it hurt on my lower back so bad, probably from being on it so long , I BEGGED the nurses to let me change positions because I KNEW there are many birthing positions and they flat refused. I felt like i had no right as a human being at that moment. Flat on your back in the stirrups like they want you for THEIR convenience. This website says For a hospital birth, the most-used birth positions are the lithotomy (flat-on-back) or C-position (resting on tailbone with body curled in the shape of a C).  The reasons for using these positions have nothing to do with comfort or effectiveness for labor. Rather, they are used solely because they are convenient for doctors.
While they allow doctors easiest access, they are detrimental to birthing for many reasons. Foremost among these reasons is that the pelvic outlet is up to 30% smaller when a woman is in these positions.  They also restrict a woman from freely moving and put greater pressure on the perineum, all of which can lead to other unnecessary interventions or complications like tearing, episiotomy, forceps delivery, or vacuum extraction. " dr Taylor came back in there and said if I didn't have the baby in 30 minutes I was getting a c section and then left again!! She only came back to cut me and catch the baby basically. I ended up making it through with an episiotomy and vacuum to getting my wonderful baby. I know labor is supposed to be hard, but I hated not having a dr there, and basically having 5 diffetent nurses throughout the process too gets old. With my water breaking on it's own, I feel I could have had the baby with labor professing on it's own without adding the stress to the baby and my body from the pitocin. They say it increases chances of infection If u don't have the baby 24 hours of water breaking. they have too many policies and Just put you a deadline to keep themselves from lawsuits and etc. What about individual circumstances? It will probably hurt but I feel safer getting a midwife and doing all natural next time, or at least somewhere that would allow you more than one birthing position for gods sake.
