Two killed in head-on crash in Caledonia

Two people died Sunday afternoon in a two vehicle accident in Caledonia. 68th St.

where the accident happens is a very bad part of the streets there are accidents there all the time last july my sister was in a accident at that exact same spot thank god she wasnt hurt my 2 nieces where with her you dont have to be drunk or high to get in a accident.

Hopefully we won't be seeing/hearing about these types of accidents with the summer months ahead. A lot of new drivers every summer and a lot of unneccesary deaths.

I agree. Last summer was absolutely terrible. So many tragic accidents that can easily be prevented. Let's hope we can have a summer that is completely free of tragic accidents like this one.

The two teens were 16 & 18. The 16 year old got his license 2 weeks ago. Speed was a factor and he was probably doing it for the thrill of it because of the hills and what not on 68th street. Or he was being dared by his friend.

Yes this is valid first hand info. The family is neighbors to my parents.

Regardless of who's to blame or the reasons why this may have happened please think of the families who just lost their son, brother etc. I've had this happen to me and until it happens to you think before you make a comment as disgusting as Scotts.

The 18 year old who died was Jonathan, my nephew, who loved God and life. He did not do drugs, he did not drink, nor did he even smoke. He was a very smart kid who comes from a loving and supporting family. I love him and will miss him

Knowing the brother of one of the young men who died this afternoon. I can say to you that, you should be so lucky that this kind of tragedy never affects your life or your familes. May god have mercy on your soul when your time comes.
