Rockford seeks to lease new cars and hire new officers

Seven candidates are currently being considered to join the force this fall, if hired they would have to go through the The grant lasts three years from when the city begins using it, which will likely be this fall, and once it is up the city will have to finance the cost of any officers it chooses to keep on the force.

This sounds super if it reduces crime and adds some stability to rockford neighborhoods. To be sure poverty is part of the problem in some areas, and the cops can only do so much.

so will these new officers actually do there job? cause the ones that came over to my black two nights ago, told grown ups to stay on there side of the street. they were fighting each other and all they got was a lesson on which side of the street to stay one. it was midnight. isnt there a sound crewful or a distributing the peace law? cause after the cops in there fancy cars left, they went at it again all damn night. so since the cops cant do there job. my family are moving out of rockford
