Pedestrian Struck on Bloomfield Avenue Suffers Broken Hip and Severe Laceration to His Skull

A pedestrian struck by an SUV on Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell Tuesday suffered a broken left hip, a severe laceration to his skull and lacerations to his face, West Caldwell Police Chief Michael Bramhall said.

I would like to see the Caldwell-Roseland-W Caldwell police work together to do the same "stings" the Montclair police conduct, with plainclothes police giving moving violations summons to drivers who routinely fail to stop or yield to pedestrians on Bloomfield ave. It's safer to cross the street in Manhattan than in Caldwell where pedestrians have to be yield to the drivers who think they have the right of way.

The drivers in this town are all somehow terrible! If you want to cross the road at walk signal, you get horned and the drivers threaten to run you over. its like everyone has road rage. I mean, they dont have to run pedestrians over to get to their pizza in this damn town!
