I personally spoke with one of the Coast Guard personal on the dock in Calabash and he made the statement that the action of the crew of the boat that was lost was, according statements of the passengers, text book perfect. In the fact that the reaction of the crew in such an emergency and the fact that they had all of the required Coast Guard safety equipment and knew how to usethem because of their extensive training pushed by the owner of the vessel. Thank God for theooutcome of the emergency and the quick response of Capt. Randy Elliot and radio assistance with the C. G. Capt. Ed. Elliot and all who responsed. As far as the petty comments from "Shallote" I think he must be an ensecure individual who might be a competitor. God Bless Him.
