I thought the Sunset Beach bridge was a done deal.It would be so out of the question to even debate the building of this much needed bridge.Another drawbridge? NO WAY

Maybe NC already has this tax but what about the possibilty of instituting a pillow or amusment tax on the resort beach areas such as Sunset, Holden , Ocean Isle, etc. Above and beyond sales taxes. Since the majority of traffic flow concerns stem from the tourist or seasonal influx of volume. Make those who cause the headaches fund the remidies. The county of Brunswick could institute and maintain this tax or the state, dedicate all funds to infrastructure on primary access first then secondary and connector route corridors. Just don't throw this on the backs of permanent full time residents who allready pay enough.
