Where are all these Russians in Myrtle Beach coming from?

When did all these Russians start coming to Myrtle in extremely high numbers?What are they doing here I can't even find work anymore ,
I used to come down from New York every summer and
I would work down in Myrtle now all the Russians have the jobs .They are becoming like the Mexicans taking all the jobs away from the Americans melting pot or not Americans are not going to Russia or Mexico taking their jobs. I am sick of it!!!!!!!!!!Its almost impossible to find an apartment around here or anything they all have Russians living in them .Call me whatever you want but this is the way I feel.I am engaged to a Russian !

I'm thinking the same thing- what is up with all of the Russians. I went shopping last week at one of the outlets and there were Russian's everywhere. I thought for a minute there must be a group visiting together but then I realized that it just happened to be a bunch of small groups and couples. A couple of them started a fight in one of the outlet stores and security had to be called. What is the deal?

The wages are higher here during tourists season than what they make in Russia. They come here and go home and come back year after year after year.....

My daughter and I went to MB for spring break and stayed near the Hotel Brittany Drexel was before she went missing. I noticed the Russians eyed me and my daughter and I became suspicious when Drexel wnet missing. Something is going on with them.

They are much better workers then others. That's why they get hired. Most of them are students from Ukraine. In my personal opinion they are much better for MB economy. Wouldn't you agree? I'd rather have them then, don't want to be disrespectful, people of darker skin.

This is ridiculous.I am American , born and raised , and; I am married to a beautiful , intelligent , and hard working Russian girl . It's not the russian student workers faults Americans wont get off their lazy asses and find jobs. There are PLENTY of jobs in Myrtle Beach . She filled out 20 applications upon arrival and was called back for hire on half. Get your facts straight and stop feeling sorry for the welfare , govt milking people who just don't want to work. And yousaid they eyed you and your daughter , probably because you were 50 lbs overweight ! And , you say there are no apartments for rent , READ THE NEWSPAPER.
