I can say they are doing fine. I'm not blown away with the speed of the repairman, but all in all I appreciate effort, respecting time frames and generally they have done a good job there. I had a problem with my AC and they were the only ones I could reach without any delay or without offering a crap load of other service, because when I hear that, I hang. Not really a great story, they came, I got a nice estimate. It was affordable and they got the job. I'm not easy to impress to I will not go on and on about their great service, but they have done alright and that is more than enough. I would recommend their services.

We hired NRG Air to replace a 30+ year old heating system and air conditioner in our home. We hired them because of their professionalism and pricing, and the overall personal attention we received in the bidding process. We were not disappointed. Dmitriy's years of experience were critical to getting our new Trane system with Clean Effects properly installed in the available space in our 1930's house (we had another contractor take one look at the space and decide not to bid!), and we are very pleased with their work. We are also very happy with the system Dmitriy recommended, and we and thank him for his expertise in helping us decide the correct products for our home. We will be using Air Quality & Beyond for the maintenance on the system and highly recommend them to other consumers. Thanks NRG!

NRG Air Conditioning and Heating was the second a/c service company that inspected our system in two weeks. The first advised that our Freon levels were fine and that there was something wrong inside the air handler but was unable to figure out what. NRG to the rescue. I called NRG on a mid-morning Friday and they were out early afternoon. They determined that the previous serviceman was incorrect; the system was low on Freon. They charged the system, cleaned off the condenser coils, inspected the air-handler, blew out a clogged drain line and even threw in some free insulation for a freon line that was exposed. They were also very personable and took the time to explain what they were doing and what I needed to do to ensure the longest life out of my system. NRG is my go-to HVAC company from now on.

On February 2005 NRG installed a complete dual zone heating and air condition system including new ducts throughout the entire house. The new system was installed in the attic. On or about December 2011 we noticed water stains on the bedroom ceiling. During the month of January 2012 water was dripping from the ceiling in several spots and the light fixture attached to the ceiling, filled with water, it looked like a fish bowl. Our first thought was that we had a roof leak. We had the roof repaired over the area in the bedroom and paid $650.00, then once again the water leak reappeared from the bedroom ceiling and the roofing contractor returned and we noticed water dripping from the joints of the plastic vent pipe from the furnace. The problem was the vent pipe not the roof. I removed the furnace panels and noticed water and rust on the interior in addition there was rust on the top of the furnace where the vent pipe connects to the furnace. Upon further inspection of the pipe I noticed the glue that was used failed due to the heat. In my opinion the glue that was used was not suitable for that application and or the tech did not use a primer prior to gluing the pipe. NRG was called February 2012 and the tech by the name of John Escobar acknowledged that there was no primer on the pipe. I was not charged for the service call and he did not write a work order detailing the problem. He said he would order new plastic pipe and additional parts for the furnace. He returned several days later and replaced the vent pipe, primed and used a hot glue. In addition he replaced a black pipe and several other parts in the furnace. Once again he did not write a work order describing the problem or the parts replaced and never asked me for my signature. There was no charges for the service calls and no work orders written, which made me suspicious, but I didn't question it since there were no charges. The reason is obvious for not writing work orders NRG did not want the flawed installation documented, it was a great way to cover up their incompetence. My assumption was that all was okay and I had the drywall repaired and replaced the fan light fixture. The tech said he would install a drip pan under the furnace, but never returned.

This December 2012 we turned on the furnace and the same problem appeared, once again water stains appeared and the water dripped from the ceiling. I called NRG and the same tech John Escobar inspected the furnace and did not write a work order or charge for the service call. He informed me that he had to order parts.

I received a call from NRG and was informed that there would be a $450.00 charge to make the necessary repairs. I informed him that the installation was flawed from the onset and the repairs made on February 2012 were not done properly. In addition the furnace is rusted on the interior and damaged due to the condensation leakage caused by a faulty installation. I have spent hundreds of dollars on water damages. Lennox Consumers Affairs has been notified of the issues and the pictures have been sent to Corporate.

I called N.R.G. Air Conditioning and Heating inc.after my central ac system no longer blew out any cold air. I expected to purchase a new unit as mine was very old and I thought it ran out of its time. Mike was the technician that came out and repaired my system without replacing it the entire unit. Did a very good job, fast and quality of service was high. Would be using your service....Highly Recommended.
