We had a long time family friend who died over there a few years ago. He was retired from the railroad and had a nice all brick home with hardwood floor in mint condition. His relatives only got $10,000 for the place after having it on the market for over a year. During that time it was broken into twice. Homes like that sell for $75,000 over in Paducah.

Plus there's that HUD housing right across the field.

Luckily It isn't vacant at the moment, hopefully lessening the chances of any random break-ins. My grandparents built it in 1959, brick exterior, original hardwood floors in good shape, they had been covered in carpet for the majority of the years, attached 1 car garage, The sun porch with vinyl siding was added and roof was replaced less than 10 years ago I believe.
