Sorry to inform you simple mind but Gary has NEVER had the kids go to the court house to vote, that was Jeff Radford who did that crap when he ran against Gary. You know that guy, it's the same Sprague Boy that Mr Morgan beat in the primary.

Bottom line - this should not be happening - the school should not play a role in the political mess of Cahokia or the county - second - who did supervise the trip?? Was it a social studies teacher? Was it Isaac Sanders??(who is the husband of a sitting board member, who was given a job from the state grant, who has NO qualifications whatsoever or degree to justify his employment???)- third - shame on the administration for allowing this farce to continue!!!! enough already!!!

and you're full of crap too. It was Radford who had the high school students got to the court house when he ran for Mayor in the last mayor election. That is unless you are talking about Frank Bergman because he's the one that started this so-called tradition when he ran the 2nd time. Those are FACTS...

Kids should be able to vote without people talking to them (police) like they are criminals. Nor should the school staff be interrogated. What are these politicans coming to?

If they are involved in politics, they already know that both sides lie and cheat so why are tey so surprised when it occurs. The kids are in the middle and shouldn't be disrespected. They are the ones hurting. And of the person who stated, they still can't read. What does that have to do with anything (ignorant); they are still kids. Maybe not yours but kids just the same!

My family and I were questioned by the police. But it want bad at all the asked if i voted absentee ballot and if I was paid or pressured? They asked if anyone offered money for to vote for one party or the other? Also asked if anyone helped me fill out the ballot? Asked if I sent it in the mail or if someone came and picked it up? When I answered there question they told me the were joint around asking to make sure there was no pressure and nothing illegal was going on

im sorry there is not 1 kid at that school would have voted if they werent asked to take the trip up there no way would they go to the polls they must of promissed them a new school or something and besides that half of them dont even live in cahokia check the records and put half the school in jail then you have all t he room you need

I guess all students would have been better off not voting. Some of you people sound ridiculous. Im a student at Cahokia and we were not bribe nor intimidated to vote. We had students to vote for Republicans as well as democrats.We did have police asking questions but none were answered. So it is very offensive for you people to make the accusations about things you do not have facts about.!
