He is still located at 6th and Broad St. He' still makes it a practice to screw his customers every chance he gets. This guy shouldn't even be allowed to own a set of wrenches.

I've used Bruce for years and have never been "screwed". He tells me the labor cost, up front, and I usually by the parts. He doesn't have any diagnostic equipment, but he is a good parts changer.

Parts changer is the key word there. There is a huge difference between a parts changer and a mechanic. Anybody can change a part.

How much work has he done for you Allen? He works on my cars, if I don't have time or desire to mess with them, works on my parents, sisters, aunts, and several friends and church members. Bruce has never been anything buy straight up and honest with us. He never over charges and backs his work. Better than you can say about 90% of the mechanics in NC.

the building doesn't do the work on your cars, it doesn't matter how big the building is as long as there is enough room to work out of. I'm sure if he could have a better/bigger building he would sure have one..but in today's economy you do what you can with what you have to survive. My father was a mechanic/bodyman, my husband and son also work on cars mechanic/bodywork/framework, and i have also helped work on cars and it's not an easy task and yes when someone is working on cars they can run in to other things that are wrong with them other then the original problems and try to fix it right.

yeah but the problems he runs into are ones that he usually brings upon himself because he doesn't know what he's doing. The things that occur from the opriginal problem you still pay for.

I'm new to town. I moved here about 78 months ago. I was having trouble with my car so I thought I would take it here. At first he told me it was my alternator so I paid him 75.00 for a new alternator. About 3 days later it was doing the same thing so I took it back. Shame on me. He then told me my battery wouldn't take a charge. so I paid him 50.00 dollars for a battery. It still didn't fix my problem. I took it to another mechanic in town. Turns out I had a relay that didn't even cost 15.00 that went bad. All he did was guess so he could line his pocket.

Daily Horoscope for December 18

Aries

You'll be in a better position to get on well with someone who has power or authority over you. This might be your boss, some other authority figure, a friend you really respect or an older relative. Maybe you should chat up your superiors at the office Christmas party... or make more of an effort to understand what makes a certain person tick.
