Awesome Meeting coming up Friday

If anyone here cares, Minister Vonda Bishop will be coming here on Friday night.
She is from Connersville, and was a leader in gettig the visteon plant re opened. she led all the prayer warriors there in high school prayer meetings, etc. She hosts Dr. Perry Stones meetings there every year. He prayed really hard for the city of connersville and everyone from one hour any city around. the mayor was there , his chief of police, she said she has a word for New Castle. She is on TBN, the Sister to Sister program. she hosts many conferences with black and white speakers. She hosts Tommy Bates, jason crabb,,,betty jean robinson will be at her christmas dinner in the park for the childrens's gifts in connersville, she speaks at lawrence and Darlene Bishops church, solid rock in oh, and many more things.including speaking at many youth conferences, and she hosts some of them herself at connersville.
She is having The Reed family from ohio doing praise and worship, the 3 daughters are awesome, one can out play drums better than any one I know..
the hands of praise from the sanctuary on broad st will be doing their hand signing.

I believe in everyones right to "believe", "worship", "serve" whomever or whatever they want...
However, if you think this lady and her old fashion prayer vigil is going to give a divine message to the people of New Castle you are WRONG...

And the #1 reason behind this ?? Well if you are a believer in the Bible as the literal teachings of the one true God... THEN WOMEN ARE NOT TO BE PREACHERS IN THE CHURCH !!!

For instance, one of the qualifications of an elder (also called bishop or pastor in the Bible) is that HE be the husband of one wife.(1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:6) Likewise, deacons MUST have a wife.(1 Timothy 3:11-12) Unless one accepts same-gender marriages, this would eliminate women from serving as elders/pastors or deacons.

Paul makes it clear, however, that the matter of women taking authority over a man is not cultural, but is from the beginning of human existence.“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”(1 Timothy 2:11-14) In Ephesians 5:22-33 he talks about the wife being subject to the husband just as the church is subject to Christ. That Christ is head over his church is not a cultural matter. It is an absolute. Anytime the church puts itself in superiority over Christ, that church is no longer Christ’s. It becomes an invention of man. Likewise, any time anyone puts women over men in the church, that is an invention of man, and liable to condemnation.
