Do you think a business is going to base its decision on whether to locate here or not solely on the content of an unmoderated message board? One of the big reasons business doesn't come here is based upon our history of unionized labor.

My son is a business executive in Indainapolis for a world wide firm. They check out cities and what they have to offer They check anyone that sends a resume on facebook, to see what kind of person they are. I know how business men look at this stuff personally, Our city is not totally a labor market. As for unions, they have 2 sides, and different marketing qualities.
And to you dell,,i have not said anything that was damaging, I have started 2 topics, one thanking my garbage collectors, and one posting a religous conference.

Look at the top 20 topics started in this forum.
How many good and positive things are there?

No one seems to want to have anything you can say positive things.
I did post of EZ, i was bashed for asking for a religion forum
events, prayer requests, etc. one girl had a serious prayer request, 900 looked , 18 replies to her.
I was told very sternly..a good word...to go somewhere else if i wanted any thing about religion.
I looked at HCF at the religion forum and saw where bad advise was given,
along with the "once saved always saved"
Came here,,no one wants any good clean, positve conversation.
We need to build up the city,
not tear it down faster than it is going.

Bad advice was never given on the HCF Religion section. I posted nearly all of the items on there. And yes, once saved, always saved is a doctrine I hold to. It is the CORRECT Biblical doctrine. Your belief of losing ones salvation is a damnable heresy.You wonder why the churches in town don't just have a big love fest together. It is because churches like yours promote unbiblical doctrines and heresy.

I have a sister in law who was raised
"a little baptist girl, got saved at 13.
To be saved is to be like Jesus.
I don't think Jesus would run the bars, take drugs, lie, cheat , steal , pornography, run around half naked.
to me that is not someone going to heaven.
I was a back slider, rededicated my life, i know the feeling .
And your churches are judgemental. we have other churches represented come to ours when theirs don
t have church service. they like the word, the feeling of the presence of GOD, seeing miracles, healings,.
you have your "doctrine" I have mine...when ever the BIBLE says who so ever , or you shall have what so ever ,,,that means me..the BIBLE is a living BIBLE about an alive GOD, who is about fed up with the earth as it is...
If you open your eyes and ears and listen to the men and women of GOD that have the message you would understand more. DOCTRINES have bllinders on...

One more question Gary,
Is everyone welcome to come to your church?
Am I welcome to come in shorts or jeans?
Can I raise my hand to praise the LORD if I feel like it.
Can I clap my hands with music, stand up and shout if I want, go to the alter for prayer and expect a healing.
In churchs like ours you can.
When we leave church, we act, and talk, and do exactly like we do in church. we don't leave and go cursing, drinking, running bars, and talking ugly . This is part of the nice things about new castle. which is what a topic should be on here.
or do you people ever have nice things to say about the community or the business owners, or the police officers that do great work, or our garbage collecots that still have to walk and pull heavy bags out of the cans that r supposed to have machines..not..bad service at the eaterys..or whatever...i want to try to help save new castle, get business here again...having someone look up new castle and see something good...My families out of state thught that is what this site was..they quit looking because it was nothing but trash...

Showmom, are you familiar with the parable of the prodigal son? If not, you might want to read it again. The doctrine of once saved, always saved is explained fairly well in this parable. While I hate seeing New Castle go down the crapper, I'm reminded that this really isn't my home. I'm actually just a stranger in a strange land. My home is being prepared for me as we speak. My Master will be returning soon to fetch me up to be with Him.

The parable of the prodigal son.Was he still saved when he was in the foreign land partying and blowing his inheritance? Had he died while blowing his inheritance would he have gone to heaven ? Or was he saved AFTER he returned to the Father? Not to argue or debate. Im curious as to your feeling on this. We all have a lot of different beliefs.
