honestly i dont think this is one to be "solved" there was no "real" work to be done with this case..from what i understand this situation occured outside while there were other around and there was a security camera outside of the store that was able to help.. so uhhhh..its NOT that nobody cares BUT the APD really had this case handed to them. but i am happy to see justice served..it was an open and shut case a NO BRAINER for the APD..the people and the camera did the work..but hey thanks APD for making the arrest for something other than a drug bust..WHEN then catch the biatch that murdered that old lady then ill applause and even send the dept roses and treat the dept to lunch no freaking joke cus that'll be real work because its still not solved..but again i am happy that justice was served for this 19yr man..im sorry for his family and friends!!

So anytime the public helps out in a case it's handed to them? Must be a lot of other law enforcement agency's that get their cases handed to them then according to you. This isn't CSI. You obviously watch the show . I'm sure they continue to work hard on these cases.

Give them credit. Under the prior chief he probably wouldn't have even looked at the tapes. At least the 12,000 people in Abbeville are helping the police depaarment. There are only about 10 cops at any moment looking for crime, while there are 12,000 citizens.

At least the evidence isn't being taken out of the EVIDENCE ROOM and taken to someone's house.

And people aren't being asked to buy back their stolen property, only sign a papaer that you got it back.
