I have an idea, you morons want to see Romney's tax records, how about Obama show Congress those secret document where his Fast and Furious Program killed our border agents too! I know I laughed at that idea too, never mind he won't.
I have a better idea. How about YOU show us those WMD's that Bush stated in the State of the Union message that Saddam had and also had drones with a 40 minute launch capability that could reach the USA. Then we'll talk fast and furious, Okey dokey dopey Okie?

You don't decide shit for anyone, you just repeat what your told to repeat and that's the same bullshit you keep repeating over and over and over and just the same those that read it will still vote against Obama, LOL now how funny is that? Want to bet Obama doesn't carry even one little cave of hood'rats in oklahoma, never mind anyone of serious concern is considering voting for him, LOL. I wonder if Obama will let you post a link to your posting here on his website since he will lose all of oklahoma? Or is this just practice of what you wish would happen? LOL.
He lost Oklahoma last time but still won the Presidency, so your point would be?

So as long as people are running around spitting out GOP talking points and calls themselves the 'Reporter', I'm going to be on this board saying Justaminute. So if you can't handle that you might as well fold up your clown show and hit the road.

I find it highly ironic that a party that spent the last year squealing for the President to show his birth certificate while no other President has had to show his are now clutching their pearls that Romney show the last ten years of his tax records. Records that all previous Presidential contenders have been willing to show, Democrat and Republican.

So if Romney can't put on his big boy pants and show those return, while Republicans themselves have joined in, he's just going to have to suffer the speculation that he has something to hide.

So Republicans can just shuffle out the old Fast and Furious and the Solyandra playing cards all they want. But we are not going to let them throw out their Strawmens any more.

Romney release your tax records if you really want to be President of the United States.

Oh No, you misunderstood. I wasn't saying leave, quite the contrary and in fact enjoy conversing with you. I want to see if you really will be sad if Obama loses and Obamacare is repealed and Republicans have a complete majority of all branches. Personally I think you will adjust fine. In fact you'll even find the money to pay your own insurance premiums without any assistance at all. Come November 7th, 2012 and it all begins to set in you really will be fine with Romney being your new President for the next 8 years. So relax, sit back and enjoy a movie while you rest.

A new book due out Tuesday makes the case that Frank Marshall Davis, a card-carrying member of the Communist Party, mentored Barack Obama when he lived in Hawaii.

In researching “The Communist,” Kengor combed over Davis’ recently released FBI profile and his voluminous writings to show something many other authors and journalists have either ignored or failed to grasp: Davis was a communist who had an early hand in shaping the future president’s political beliefs.

Davis’ influence was apparent when Obama was in his late teens. John Drew, who knew him at Occidental College, told Kengor that “Obama was already an ardent Marxist when I met him in the fall of 1980.”

Kengor is careful not to accuse Obama of being a closeted communist or Communist Party member. But he notes that Davis’ influence would explain why Obama was so well versed in Marxist orthodoxy so early in his college days.

“[W]hat — or, better still, who — explains Obama’s Marxist political thinking at the time, fresh out of Hawaii?” Kengor asks in his book.”The obvious answer is Frank Marshall Davis.”

Since that time, Obama has never spoken of a “conversion” from these convictions.

“If Obama was on the Marxist-Leninist left, we have no accounting, from Obama or anyone, of a switch,” Kengor writes.”Quite the contrary, in Obama’s memoirs, we hear about him attending socialist conferences and ‘hanging out’ with Marxist professors, but never any repudiation of those conferences, professors, or even a tiny, passing comment suggesting these were fanciful musings from a politically misguided youth.”

Instead, Obama still seems to eerily echo his former mentor’s economic beliefs, Kengor argues. He writes that Davis “suggested economic recovery ideas hauntingly close to what President Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress pursued in 2009 and 2010.”

Like Obama would advocate years later, Davis believed “the goal was not for business or Wall Street or individual businessmen and corporations to stimulate the economy, but for ‘taxes’ to be redistributed by the federal government.”

Davis wrote that “tax money should flow into shovel-ready ‘public works projects’ and be redirected and redistributed into ‘increased social security benefits, health insurance, education and low cost housing.’” This, Kengor writes, along with Davis’ suggestion of “using tax money for ‘health insurance,’” now has a familiar ring.

Despite policy similarities, media accounts have largely ignored Davis’ communist political philosophy. For example, Kengor calls David Remnick’s definitive biography on Obama,“The Bridge,” entirely “scandalous in its omissions” about Davis beliefs.

“In Remnick’s section on Frank,” Kengor writes,”the words ‘communist,’‘Marxist,’‘CPUSA’[ Communist Party USA],‘Soviet Union,’‘USSR,’‘Russia,’ or a host of other words that established the dominant extreme-left themes in Frank’s political writings across multiple decades … appear just once: Remnick concludes his discussion of Frank with a shot at the ‘right-wing blogosphere,’ which, when Obama was running for president, allegedly smeared Frank as (in Remnick’s words)‘a card-carrying Communist, a pornographer, a pernicious influence. The attacks were loud and unrelenting.’”

Kengor’s answer, in part, is “27544.” That’s the number on Davis official CPUSA membership card.

Davis’ interactions with Obama have been well documented. Kengor summarizes several biographies, articles, and Obama’s own memoir that show Davis’ significance in Obama’s life.

For example, Davis biographer Dr. Kathryn Takara praised Davis’“dedication to social justice” and wrote that “Frank handed on to Obama ‘a sense of believing that change can happen.’”

But according to Kengor, that “progressive” and “social justice” orientation was a front for the communist ends toward which he was working. Davis’ consistent claim was that his work for civil rights and racial tolerance got him labeled as a communist.

“This was Frank’s explanation for why the federal government took interest in his activities: because he was interested in fighting racism, and not for anything related to his communist activities,” Kengor writes. Davis often argued that “anticommunism was a veiled form of racism.”

Davis himself wrote that he had “no intention of letting the cry of ‘communism’ sidetrack me from my goal of complete civil rights as guaranteed by the Constitution,” even as he promoted goals that differed greatly from the Constitution’s design and purpose.

Communists used the language of progessivism to “dupe” unsuspecting democrats, Kengor explains. Their explicit goal was to infiltrate and influence the Democratic Party. When the Hawaiian Communist Party officially “disbanded” in the early 1950s, Davis and others went underground.

“[T]he comrades would continue to masquerade as ‘progressives,’ except this time from within the Democratic Party,” Kengor writes.

Davis apparently succeeded. Kengor found that “Frank Marshall Davis was elected ‘assistant secretary and delegate’ to the Territorial Democratic Convention” on April 30, 1950.

“And,” Kengor adds,“it would be as a ‘Democrat’ that Frank would one day influence a future Democratic Party president.”

Davis’ beliefs, he argues in “The Communist,” often led the Obama mentor to advocate for Russia and against the United States.

Despite the USSR’s abuses of human rights and its eventual economic failure, Davis explicitly praised its leaders for both abolishing racism and creating a free economic system.

“I salute the Soviet Union,” he wrote,“for in less than a generation abolishing a discrimination and racism as crippling as anything that ever happened in Mississippi.”

“I admire Russia for wiping out an economic system which permitted a handful of rich to exploit and beat gold from the millions of plain people who had to live a hand-to-mouth existence.”

“As one who believes in freedom and democracy for all, I honor the Red nation,” Davis gushed.

After all, he asked for it. In a recent campaign appearance in Virginia, the President remarked:

Ultimately, I think, Mr. Romney is going to have to answer those questions because if he aspires to being president, one of the things you learn is you’re ultimately responsible for the conduct of your operations.

The Obama campaign has been in all out assault mode on Mitt Romney since it was discovered that Romney may not have completely severed his relationship with Bain Capital after 1999.

The precise role Romney played at the firm from 1999 to 2001 is important not only because critics have raised questions about his truthfulness, but also because Bain was sending jobs overseas during that period.

But the President has a past as well. The real question is: Is President Obama ready to finally take responsibility for the conduct of his prior operations?

1992-2008: Barack Obama has a close relationship with extremist Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr. as evidenced by Obama’s 20 year patronage to Wright’s sermons and his officiating of Mr. Obama’s wedding to Michelle. One Obama spokesman back in 2008 even went so far as to say Obama compares Wright to “a member of his family…”

1995: Despite repeated insistence by the President that controversial figure Bill Ayers is “not somebody I exchange ideas from,” it has been confirmed that it was in Ayers’ home where Barack Obama’s Illinois State Senate bid was made apparent. Although never convicted of a crime, Ayers has been linked to the radical Weather Underground Organization. On the day of attacks of 9/11, a New York Times article ran in which Ayers was quoted talking about his organization’s nefarious activities,“I don’t regret setting bombs…I feel we didn’t do enough.” Ayers had also talked previously of Weather Underground’s philosophy.

Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.

All of this, Ayers now brushes aside as a “joke.”

1999-2002: The Ayers connection persists. Barack Obama serves on the board of the Woods Foundation with Ayers.

1999: Then State-Senator Barack Obama exploits Catholics to garner support for a universal health care bill that he co-sponsors. Illinois voters overwhelmingly reject it.

1999: Obama voted “Present” to dodge a difficult vote that could potentially have drawn a rift between him and his African-American supporters. A strategy he invoked on nearly 130 occasions during his time as an Illinois State Senator.

2001: State-Senator Barack Obama is the sole voice of opposition to an Illinois bill that would protect born-alive babies’ rights under the law when abortions failed to kill the fetus. The persuasive State-Senator, who is also a respected former law professor, quickly begins to garner support to kill the bill by saying it would undermine Roe v. Wade.

2003: Mr. Obama is now the chairman of the committee that the bill is referred to. Although nearly identical to the federal bill which passed Congress without a dissenting vote, and one Obama has said he would’ve supported had he been in the U.S. Senate at the time, the Illinois bill never makes it out of committee, falling on a 6-4 vote along party lines.

As you can see, the President has a long history of questionable relationships and conduct. Yet while President Obama was doing this, Mitt Romney was on a different path trying to save the troubled Salt Lake City Olympics,(h/t NewsMax):

Having faced a budget deficit of $379 million when he took over, Romney ended up with a surplus of $56 million. The money went to fund future Olympics.

When he took the job, Romney said he would accept the offered salary of $250,000 a year only if the Olympics made a profit. When it did, he turned his salary over to charity. In addition, he contributed $1 million to the games.

President Obama hit the campaign trail today, but he ignored a law requiring him to submit an updated version of his budget to Congress.

“Americans across the political spectrum agree that our country needs a sound financial plan in this dangerous hour,” Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., said in a statement today.“Yet the President has ignored the legal requirement to send his updated budget to Congress.”

Sessions cited a law requiring that “before July 16 of each year, the President shall submit to Congress a supplemental summary of the budget for the fiscal year for which the budget is submitted.”

“We must worry about the failure to issue this required report,” Sessions said.“An updated budget plan will help us understand how deep our debt problem is and how it will impact the proposal he submitted in February.”

Ninety-eight U.S. Senators voted unanimously against Obama’s budget in May.

Over the past few weeks, we have seen President Obama's absolute disregard for the Constitution on a variety of issues, from healthcare to immigration to marriage.

The role of President, by design, is quite limited. You actually do need Congress to change laws, at least according to the Constitution.

This past Friday, the President gutted the landmark welfare reform law. He instructed Health and Human Services (HHS) to remove the work requirement for welfare recipients.

This legislation had been passed by the House and Senate and signed by a President, which is the requirement to change laws, yet he changed this major piece of legislation and ignored the intent of Congress all by simply giving a speech.

Here are some additional abuses by President Obama:

Earlier this year, he made three recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) when the Senate was still in session.

He had his Justice Department file a lawsuit against the state of Arizona for enforcing immigration laws. Arizona was just enforcing the laws that Obama refused to enforce.

By giving a speech, he announced that he would now follow the DREAM Act, a law Congress has NOT passed. He instructed his Department of Homeland Security to no longer deport young illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria he set.

He instructed his Justice Department to stop enforcing DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act, a law duly passed by Congress, simply because he did not like the law.

He instructed HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to grant waivers, and establish new budgets and guidelines for implementing Obamacare, without any Congressional oversight.

He had his Department of Interior illegally place a moratorium on offshore drilling. This was illegal because a federal judge in Louisiana held them in contempt of court for "dismissive conduct" for doing that earlier.

His Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has implemented one job-killing policy after another, without Congressional approval.

Senate Democrats appear willing to use your paycheck to play political hardball on taxes unless Republicans agree to President Obama's plan to raise taxes on America's top earners.

A top Senate Democrat warned Monday that, if Republicans don't relent, her caucus is willing to let ALL the Bush-era tax rates expire at the end of the year -- in effect threatening to let the country fall off what many in Washington call the "fiscal cliff."

That cliff is approaching at the start of 2013, when the Bush tax cuts are set to expire and billions of dollars in automatic spending cuts -- spawned by last summer's debt-ceiling debate -- are set to take effect. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are hoping to shift around those spending cuts to spare key areas like defense, and to temporarily extend the Bush tax rates for at least some Americans. Some have warned a failure to do so could send the nation back into recession.

But Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., indicated Democrats are willing to let the deadline pass in order to better their negotiating position.

"So if we can't get a good deal, a balanced deal that calls on the wealthy to pay their fair share, then I will absolutely continue this debate into 2013 rather than lock in a long-term deal this year that throws middle-class families under the bus," she said in an address Monday afternoon at the Brookings Institution. Murray is head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the campaign arm for Senate Democrats.

In the remarks, Murray explained that if all the tax cuts expire, then that will diminish the GOP argument that the Democratic plan is tantamount to a tax hike -- because come 2013, any change to the tax code would be a tax cut.

"We will have a new fiscal and political reality," Murray said. "If the Bush tax cuts expire, every proposal will be a tax cut proposal and the pledge (to not raise taxes) will no longer keep Republicans boxed in and unable to compromise.

"If middle-class families start seeing more money coming out of their paychecks next year -- are Republicans really going to stand up and fight for new tax cuts for the rich? Are they going to continue opposing the Democrats' middle-class tax cut once the slate has been wiped clean? I think they know that that would be an untenable political position. And I hope this pushes them to come to the table with real revenue now before being forced to the table if we don't get a deal before the New Year," she said.

you can cut and paste right wing drivel until your newest pig is old enough to marry but all the polls show more than 70% of America favors the rich tax break portion expiring. They've had this for nearly 12 years now and it's cost us 12 million jobs. The bottom line is the rich need to pay their fair share.

Good for Patty Murray and Democrats. It's about time they stood up to the Republicans and quite letting them hold tax cuts for the middle class hostage so the 1% who don't need a tax cut can get one two.

So let the Bush tax cuts expire. If Republicans wanted the middle class to have a tax cut, they would simply pass the legislation that President Obama put forward to give them one. But they won't, the rich has to get their too.

We know now that the job creators are NOT the richest Americans are we would be floating in jobs since they were passed during the Bush years.

The middle class makes jobs buy spending. No business get ahead without customers no matter how many tax credits they get.

The middle class could use the tax cuts because their spending keeps the US economy up and growing.

So go Democrats, don't let Republican blackmail work. It just reinforces that the Republican Party doesn't work for the middle class they work for themselves and rich Americans.

Great news for me. I just got my checks from my insurance company for overcharging my premiums!

I received not one but two checks; one for almost $200 dollars and one for $275.

Thanks to Obamacare and yes President Obama does care that I'm getting some of the money that the ironically named Golden Rule owes me. I am glad that they can't us the excuse of my MS to over charge me.

What's funny, my husband received one to from Blue Cross Blue Shield too but it was for $60.

Citizens across the US will be getting checks just like this from their insurance carriers too. The refunds are supposed to be done by August. Let's see how unhappy they are with Obamacare after that!

So just keep cut n pasting ASDF, your party wants the millionaire/billionaire insurance CEO's to have their yearly payday and bonus in the hundreds of millions while they earn that off the back of middle class Americans that just want a fair shake from insurance companies.

I think I will just donate this to President Obama's re election campaign and a couple of others that are running on the Democratic ticket.

What's funny with these checks they have to include a letter how Obamacare makes them spend 80% of their premium dollars on them! The very idea they only make 20% off of illness. I'm sure ASDF can't sleep at night, wondering how they can possibly get along by not ripping off average Americans. So if ASDF get's a check, she should just give in back to the insurance companies.

The very idea that your premiums should be spent on you and not bonuses for CEO's like the Republicans want. No wonder the insurance companies spent hundreds of millions of dollars trying to get rid of Obamacare.

Of course this workes on the water carriers like Heat, ASDF and Reporter. It's just a case of the rear-kissing-genuflecting peons did in the hope their betters would treat them better than the rest of us peons. So cheer lead away for the insurance companies, I'll stick with Obama since he cares about the rest of us getting skewered and robbed by the greedy corporations.

What's funny now with the names of social security, medicare, medicaid, there will be a new one, Obamacare! LOL

Actually I do plan to send my check back if I get one. Discussed it w/my husband months ago for reasons anti-capitalist and anti-America people will never understand. It's not my money anyway, it's yours and I'm giving it back to the insurance company.

ASDf is now saying that it is Anti-American to not let the insurance companies rip us off or deny us care because we have pre-existing conditions.

I like the way she was on the side of an anti-Obamacare spokeswoman that was a shill for ALEC and the insurance companies. She was also anti-vaccination too. ASDF buys into all their propaganda.

Of course, they don't care for the people that they hurt with their schemes. Like on the news today of a baby dying because it contracted whooping cough in Oklahoma.

They don't care for average everyday working people, they only care for the team that they seem to feel that they owe alliengence too - the Republican party and corporations.

ASDF, you won't get a check if you don't pay for your insurance. Your pretty skimpy on details but not your opinion.

'It's not my money anyway, it's yours and I'm giving it back to the insurance company."

That pretty much says it all for the right wing. If it's not your money then give it back to the insurance companies. You know who it belongs to but instead they're going to give it back to the insurance companies. Houston, we have idiots.
