I am a remarried dad of an awesome little girl that is being raised by what I now know is a mentally ill mother that I wish to get custody of. Me and my wife have a very stable christian home. I need an awesome attorney that wins for Dads in the Cabot courtroom. I want the best and am willing to pay for it. My daughters whole personality has changed in the last 2 years and her school has even tested her for mental retardation when its neglect and her mothers instability and mental abuse that have began to change this little girl. Please someone point me in the right direction...I dont need just a good attorney....I need the best! I already fired the Tim Blaire as he was a joke that farted along and did what he wanted when he wanted...he had no concerns about the welfare of my child. Her attorney is Jon Johnson from Jacksonville.

Try Barbara Elmore or Larry Cook.

I would use Red Smith in Searcy. He is a little pricy but well worth the money. I used him in my divorce and my cousin had four children (he is male) and was awarded custody of all of them and that was 15 years ago and unheard of.

Well, I don't know too awful many people who will work for free. I mean, come on. You pay for what you get.

It is true Hubert Alexander is the best but you guys are dead wrong about Micah Nail Lane - she has got to be the worst and most greedy attorney I have ever met. If you call Hubert Alexander his secretary is just going to dump you on Micah so don't do it. I found Theresa Smith in Lonoke County (I think England) to be the best. She is also a judge. I have used Micah Nail Lane, Hubert Alexander, Theresa Smith, Paul Schmidt, Ben Rice Sr., Jon Johnson, Mike Beebe, and one other guy from Little Rock who is also now a judge and I can definitely say I would use Theresa Smith again or Hubert Alexander but not the rest. Hubert prefers to take on criminal cases and you most likely would not be able to get him. Good Luck. PS (My son got his daughter by hiring Theresa to represent his daughter, not him. She had the child's best interest at heart.

Opinions are like assholes, unfortunately, there is one in every forum! About a good attorney, I have also heard good things about Red Morgan in Searcy. He represented a family member of mine a few years ago. Everyone is going to say different things about all the attorneys because everyone's personalities and every situation is different. Unfortunately, it's not about guilty or not guilty, fit or unfit, around here it's how much money you can fork out or who you are willing to sell that decides the verdict anyway.

As an executive producer of a legal show if you can prove her mentally unstable you shouldn't need much of any kind of lawyer. Most case outcomes depend on the the the work put in by you yourself not the lawyer. You need to remember lawyers have caseloads meaning you are not the only one they attend to

Anyone looking to succeed in a fully contested custody case should do themselves a favor and read the book "How to win a fully contested custody case" by Richard Kent. This book is incredibly helpful and can be found on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/How-Fully-Contested-Cus...

Micah Myhill is no longer in Jacksonville. Shes in little rock. Still the best at custody. Hands down wins for you. Will tell you straight up if she thinks you can't win. Shes not free but you get what you pay for. I paid , I listened and did what she said and won.

I would not go with Hubert Alexander. He is a DAMNED good lawyer but he is cocky as hell. Judges like to give cocky lawyers a slap down every once in a while and you don't want to be the statistic that got slapped down.

I recommend Cliff Collins. He is a damned good guy and he's who I am using right now for the same thing.
