Very unfortunate that this had to happen the way it did. I'm sure officer Robinson feels bad for the final outcome, but the story indicates there was no time to talk this McMoran out of a violent act, so it had to be done. Also , i believe , officer Robinson , in acting to protect her own safety, merely meant to stop McMoran, not to simply kill him. The only thing i see, is maybe if there were more units to respond (all at the same time) , maybe this wouldn't have happened - and i'm talking about the initial attack on one police officer. If he (McMoran) saw 2-4 police vehicles roll up , he may have backed down, maybe not , but at least he wouldn't have the chance to attack just one officer. -law abiding person.

I wonder where these people get there info There were two police officers cars there when this happened and not one of their camera on board was working.....just happened not to be working that day HUMMM seems strange to me I have been on the other end of a gun before from a destraught person and I did'nt draw my gun and kill this person and yes I am a women also and it is scary but I knew what I was getting into when I joined the force... I think there is alot more that needs to be looked at before there is any coments stated and there are legs that can be shot out from under some one instead of shouting them in the bladder and kidney area you are tought where to shot to kill are shot to wound are I was ...

Well gawd-dawgit! nobody said good law enforcement had to have good grammar , eh? Or didn't they?....oh , anyway, i've always believed that if you warrant contact by the police , ya must have done something, unless you contact them yourself. But what do i know, i've never (knock on wood..LOL!) been arrested...ever!, i just know i've never given police any reason to shoot me in the bladder , leg , foot, etc.

Yeah Tod, then in winter, when they'd yell "Freeze!",...it could actually have two meanings, LOL!
