I had my car washed at Love My
Car Carwash in Germantown, MD on January 20th, 2009 and did not get what I paid for.

First of all, Luis Chihuan, employee #1102, overcharged me when the Deluxe car wash was clearly advertised on the board for $10.99. Then he didn't give me the correct change. He shorted me by $1.00.

After waiting in line for almost 15 minutes with only two cars ahead of me, I felt this was some part of the ploy to get you to overlook the charges and the return change.

Consumers should be wise to review their receipts and count their change before pulling ahead.

I am a frequent costumer at Love my car in Germantown. I can personally say that i know Luis very well and I know he is a very courteous person and with excellent costumer service skills. What I would recommend is to read carefully the menu board and realize that if you own a over sized vehicle there is an extra fee of $2.00. Finally if you have any question regarding the service received you should express it to the manager or the person in charge before posting comments in the internet right?. I find Love my car the best carwash in the area, that is why I also became a member of the club.

I found them unreliable at times too. Inconsistent is the more accurate word for my experiences. They CAN be excellent and then they can be unbelievably bad. One busy weekend I waited over 90 minutes for a #2 detail. When finished there was very obvious car seat crap (crumbs, hair...) not vacuumed. I watched the guy futz around vacuuming for a very long time. His head was not on straight. I brought it to their attention and they fixed it. I had to bring to their attention obvious faults numerous times. I'm not picky either. There is not quality control. Sometimes, like if it is a detail #1, I might not bring it to their attention. I have at times gotten a great detail job. I wish it were always so. I did get mischarged once, but I called them on it right then and it was fixed. I do keep going back as they are convenient for me. I wish they would get some quality control in there. I also wish they would stop with the "blowing around of dust" and just wipe it clean. They seem obsessive on the high pressure air feature of cleaning.

Good points! Hopefully Luis Chihuan will get the message and so the management too! Otherwise, maybe promote Luis to some other career field.

I made my first trip to Love My Car this past Saturday and purchased the best in/out wash. I will never go back again. My car still had some dirty spots on the outside and my windows looked clean in the center but dirty on the edges. I paid $25 dollars which included Rain-X for the windshield. I'd pay that amount again, if they did the job correctly and as advertised.

Disappointed in Germantown.

I got the full detailing in mid-May 2010. I don't know what they call that fragrance they spray in there, but it smells like the ladie's room in the rest stops off the NJ Turnpike. They missed a few spots in corners and crevices when cleaning the interior. Because I forgot to remove a bedsheet I had spread out over the backseat for the purpose of transporting my dog, they didn't vaccuum back there at ALL. The outside was sparkling when they were finished, though. Probably won't go back, mainly because of that SMELL.

I visited this car wash three weeks ago, and upon exiting and arriving home, I noticed that a strip off the roof of my 328ci was been torn out by the car wash. When I immediately returned, I was told by Marcos "manager??" that they did not accept responsibility as they considered it "a loose piece on my car". I immediately argued, and was told they would "make an exception" and that I should take my car to VOB in Rockville as they have "an account" with them for repairs. 1. NO account with VOB 2. when I called them with the price of reoair - I was told - they could get it down cheaper. I have yet to get a call from them about any of this. All calls have been initiated by me --- and surprise surprise --- Repair has STILL not been made. They have one week before I simply take them to court!

ever since marcos left this car wash is not same, there is no personal attention anymore, and the service is bad before when marcos was in charge the work was great but now is just one the worst car wash.

LOVE MY CAR WASH GERMANTOWN -BAD PLACE!
#1 The basic car wash is the only value. They charge more for their other washes -than any other car wash in the area.
#2 My car was not clean after the basic wash. Due to the employees lack of attention to the interior.

I asked a manager to look at it and re-do the missed items: dirt on the inside of the windshield, crumbs on the carpet and seats, dirt in the door jams, etc. THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND SAID: "What do you expect for an inexpensive car wash"?

-I'll tell you what I expect: I expect that it be done right for whatever price I pay!

I called the main office to complain about unprofessional treatment, which is what I encourage others to do. It's back to Flagship for me. Worth the drive to Rockville.

I have gone to Love My Carwash for several years. They have certainly fallen off. It just seems to be about getting in and getting out now. I have a full size SUV and the last few times I have gone, I have not been satisfied. They continually put in the wrong license number so I will neer reach my 11th free wash and when I ask them to fix it, I am told I have to soem back when the manager is there!!! They never clean the windows in the back andI have to remind them when they bring the car to me, even though I mention it when I drop it off got vacuuming. I will just go to Rockville from now on...
