No, don't only fine them financially; allow the father to kick the crap out of each and every one of them individually. Give dad five minutes alone with each punk and this will be the same as the gang beating that the boy took. If dad put the boys in the hospital for a few months it would teach them quickly. Fine the parents?? No! The kids should be tried as adults so the incident will stay on their records for life and the kids should pay the fine by making them work it off. Other wise the parents will just "stroke" a check for the damages so they can just “forget about it by sweeping it under the rug” and the kids won't learn a bloody thing except the fact that when they are 18 years old it will be wiped off of their record. That’s part of the problem in today’s society everyone wants to cut the check to make “payment” to forget about what was done so they can just move on… NO real punishment NO REAL lesson learned.
Let's use common sense folks, please!! Put yourself in the other kids shoes for a while. How would you like to have been beaten up like that for no real reason?!?

OK, here we go:

1. Let the father of the victim kick their little a$$

2. Make the parents pay for the reconstructive work that needs to be done. His parents already paid for the first 7 years. Make them pay for the next 7.

3. Try them as adults. If not they'll think it's okay to beat up people. I've said it before and I'll say it again if they think they're grown and commit grown up crimes make them do grown up time.

This poor boy. His mouth looks terrible. I feel so bad for him. What a cowardly act. This is so brutal, so violent! What is going on with our young people? Whatever the reason for beating up that child is hateful. Dental procedures are not cheap. Also, it will take a while for that young victim to be himself again. I believe his parents will not give up on justice and they shouldn't.

Try the kids as adults and make the kids pay for the the 7 years of Dental work that this kid went through. It's time to start making examples. Otherwise these kids will go off and think its okay to do it again.

And the parents of those kids are to blame too, I'll bet they just spoiled them rotten instead of instiling some dicipline in them like they should have. So I guess they could pay for some of the dental work as well.
