Geovax has a vaccine going to phase 2. unlike Merck, the Geovax vaccine was highly successful in minket trials.

About time some-one is brave enough to speak the truth. We have been spending MILLIONS on a vaccine, that will never work. Again I'll restate my past comment. "There will never be a cure". The reason for this is that HIV/AIDS attach'es it self to your own personal DNA. HIV/AIDS is not like Polio or Mesales, where everyone get it the same and you can come up with a vaccine.
HIV/AIDS is by far a complete different virus. The only true way to slow/stop HIV/AIDS growth is through education.
I'm a person living with the virus, now celebrating my 29th year of infection. I have gone through the highs and lows of hearing we are getting close. Well as we can all see, the truth is finally getting out. There is not now or ever be a vaccine for HIV/AIDS. Yes, I said it.
We must face the fact that this a personal choice we make freely. God put us on this planet, to do what we were meant to do. Get married, fall in love and have a family.
Little did we know that he would put such a virus as HIV/AIDS to wake us all up and open our eyes. We are humans with needs, but life is not all fun and games. We need to make wise choice's with our lifes.
In my teaching as a HIV/AIDS EDUCATOR, I close my speech with this comment. "NO GLOVE NO LOVE". No one on this plant earth, for those few moments is worth dieing for.
Thank God someone is stepping up and saying the truth. Those MILLIONS should be going to treatment and education.
