I have enjoyed the existence of the online lexicon when trying to reference something in the Harry Potter books quickly. I am so disappointed that VanderArk has tried to exploit Rowling's work. She has an amazing mind and it is not fair to steal her thoughts and ideas and claim them to be your own. If RDR gets its way and publishes, I will never buy their cheap imitation of a book I look forward to buying from Rowling, and I will discourage anyone I can from supporting RDR in any way.

For a "common people" explanation of the trial, check out www.the-leaky-cauldron.org . It's one of the best fan sites out there, and does everything to celebrate Rowling's work, instead of exploit it.

I think that Rowling is greedy. So what if it borrows from her books. They public loves them and she should take it as a compliment not as a challenge. UGH!

I wonder why she's not suing all these people (each of which reference Steve Vander Ark in their books by the way). I found each of these books by simply searching amazon for steve vander ark...
